(9) She's Your Little Girl

Recap- "Miss Rashelle you are having a..."

"Girl", the nurse said happily snapping a picture on the machine. (the title was kinda a give away).

"I'm gonna be an Uncle", Cade said happily as tears sprung in his eyes but he tried to hide them. I wiped away the happy tears that had escaped as she wiped the jell off of my stomach.

"Brooklyn would have been an aunt", I said as a couple more tears slipped out at the thought of my older sister who died because of cancer when I was ten, Cade was twelve, and she was thirteen. We didn't talk about her much thought because it always was to hard to think about it.

"Sis I'm sorry but I'm tired of it here I miss home. Dad has just been ignoring us anyways. Maybe you could finish your school year online or something", he said grabbing ahold of my hand as we left the office.

"I miss home too...but what if I run into Logan", I asked looking down at my protruding stomach.

"You need to tell him", Cade said sighing at my stubbornness.

"What if he doesn't want anything to do with her", I asked being able to use 'her' for the first time.

"He's not that cold hearted Rashelle", Cade said leading me over to his truck as I pulled out my cell phone and dialed my moms number.

"Hello darling", mom said answering her phone already sounding inpatient.

"I'm having a girl", I said happily not letting her bring down my happy mood.

"Oh thats wonderful", she said but it sounded like she said it out of instinct.

"Me and Cade are gonna come home in two months", I said knowing that it probably didn't matter to her.

"Okay well I have to go goodbye sweetie", she said hanging up before I could say anything else.

"She's so pleasant", I muttered under my breath but Cade obviously heard because he cracked a smile.

(two months later-she is six months along)!!!!

When me and Cade got home I noticed a limo in the driveway and got really curious to see who's it was. Me and Cade exchanged a weird glance before getting out and walking inside. When we got into the living room there was an older man and a boy about my age

"Rashelle, Cade, have a seat I would like you to meet Mr.Larson and his son Andrew", dad said gesturing his hand towards them and smiling politely.

"Hello", me and Cade said at the same time making us giggle and dad give us a quick glare. I started popping bubbles with my gum for entertainment making Cade smirk.

"Not while we have guests Rashelle", he said getting slightly annoyed. Bastard, I thought sourly.

"Me and Mr.Larson are both in business and we will bring in a lot more profit of we can join the businesses into one. Our overall boss won't let us do that unless our families cross through blood", dad said eyeing me strangely making me scoot closer to Cade.

"So you need a child from a girl from our family an a boy from their family", Cade asked suspiciously getting angrier by the second. That's when it clicked they were gonna use me and this Andrew kid.

"No way in hell I'm already pregnant", I shouted standing up outraged at my dad even thinking I would go along with this.

"That's why it will make this so much easier your child will bring our businesses together we just have to say it's Andrew's baby", my dad said trying to calm me down and giving me a warning look.

"This is Logan's baby and it's

going to stay Logan's baby", I shouted angrily as Cade stood up looking like he was ready to knock my dad out.

"And I nor my baby want ANYTHING to do with your stupid-ass fucking business", I shouted before walking towards my room.

"Were going home", Cade yell before following me upstairs to grab our stuff. My dad is such a bastard...
