The bright sunlight filtered its way into Ciel's room on account of Sebastian opening the curtains. The daily phrase greeted his ears, Sebastian's voice smooth and deep. Ciel pulled the covers over his head and let out a groan. This was a repetitive action. Ciel had never been a morning person. He heard the older male sigh.

"Must we do this every morning, my Lord?" His butler questioned. When he received no response he went on to list the breakfast options.

"Scone." Mumbled Ciel tiredly, burying himself farther into the abyss of blankets he had created.

"Master, if you want me to hear you properly you must come out from under the blankets. You also have your violin lesson soon." Sebastian sounded more demanding but gentle all the same.

Grumbling Ciel peeked his head over the covers. "Do demon's not have exceptional hearing?" It was a rhetorical question.

He sat himself up, wiping the sleep out of his eyes with his left sleeve. Lazily gazing over at his butler he repeated himself. "A scone'll do."

Sebastian nodded and bowed slightly. "Right away, my Lord." He exited the room, it becoming eerily, giving Ciel slight shivers even though the cheerful sun shone through illuminating the room. But where the light couldn't get to was still cloaked in darkness.

Soon enough, Sebastian returned and began to dress the boy. As he was buttoning his shirt he began to speak. "You have received a letter marked with the royal brand. I assume it's a mission from the Queen."

Ciel took in his words and lifted his chin as his butler tied the bow around his neck. "I see... Cancel violin lessons today. We should act immediately. It seems urgent," he spoke, taking the letter from Sebastians gloved hands as he inspected the sloppily branded letter.

Later on they made their way to the front of the manor, slipping on their coats. Sebastian made his way over to Tanaka, giving him full control of the manor and it's servants while they were gone.

Sebastian took the reins of the horses after helping the young earl into the carriage and making sure he was comfortably seated inside. With narrowed eyes, he made his way down the route to London.

Ciel hadn't told him what was in the letter, just where he had to go. He had looked slightly afraid when he read the words in sloppy cursive on the page but Sebastian hadn't pried. He had seemed to of recovered himself quickly.

Soon enough they arrived in London and they're speed slowed due to traffic in the streets and civilians making their ways around. Sebastian narrowed his eyes as Ciel told him to make his way through and out of the city. Confused but sticking to his role he didn't question it.

They came to a stop in front of a run-down looking but quite large manor. The walls were crumbling slightly, decorated with randomized cracks and crevices scattered about the old stone. The windows were either dirtied or broken, same as the stairs leading to the entrance.

Sebastian helped the bluenette out and began to follow behind his master when his small hand raised, signalling for him to stay where he was. "But master-" he protested, cut off by a cold stare from the small boy.

Ciel entered silently, trembling slightly before regaining his posture and stepping forward. The information included in the letter was enough to notify Ciel where he was too go and who he was to look for.

Keeping his senses alert he made his way through the dark and all to familiar corridors. There it was. A light a few metres more down the hall. The window let through the moonlight, the pattern of the window cutting it up into odd shapes as they danced and shimmered on the velvet carpet.
