"Because she hates me but she pretends to like me when you're around. When I was little, she used to beat me. My father laughed at me when she beat me. At the time the only person who cared about me was Michael."

"Do you have to go?"

"Yes."

"Put the gun down, sir."

"Put it down this young boy did nothing wrong."

"He did everything wrong I told him not to fall in love with boys."

"Do you wanna go to jail?"

"No."

"Then put it down.

"NO! The dad screamed and shot Calum in the arm. And then the dad got shot."

"Sir, are you alright."

Ashton is the one who called the cops and he was watching the whole police thing through the window.

"CALUM!"

"A-Ashton?"

"Cal, please don't leave me. CAN WE GET AMBULANCE?!"

"Sir, calm down he'll be ok the ambulance is on its way."

"A-ashton?"

"CAL, you're awake!"

W-what happened?"

"Your father shot you in the arm."

"Is he in jail?"

"Yes."

"Finally."

Your moms in jail too."

"Why?"

"Because she bought the gun and gave it to your dad and right after you got shot she punched you in the face and almost shot you."

"When can I get outa here?"

"They said a few hours."

"Come here Ashton."I

"Yeah.."

"Closer.

I'm confused"

"Closer."

Ash's face was close enough that way Calum could kiss him. Calum connected their lips and it was a long passionate kiss.

"Oh was I interrupting something?" The nurse said when she came in the room.

"Oh no sorry."

"It's fine. And Calum, you are ready to go home. But be careful with your left arm."

"Ok."

Ashton didn't finish his sentence because Cal smashed their lips together.

"I thought you said you were tired."

"I lied to you Ashton."
