Gohan's trust

part one continued

Gohan landed on the roof of the school still holding videl. She didn't want to let go but gohans saiyan hearing picked up the bell and he let go.
"Well let's go erasa and shrarpner are probaly looking for us." She reluctantly let go and made her way to the stairwell, obviously irritated and interrupted intamacy.

During lunch videl started to think about how she really felt about gohan. She had never though about him or anyone for that matter as anything more than a friend, sure sharpner flirted with her but she always shut him turned him down. She remembers how empty she felt when he was dead and how fast her heart had been beating when he was alive.
"Videl!" Gohan said snapping her out of her thoughts and causing her to blush intensly for being caught thinking of the demi saiyan.
"So what were you thinking about?"he asked innocently.
"I...... was thinking about us going to the lake after school today." There was no way she was going to tell him how she felt about him, not really knowing how she felt herself. Botany could tell she was lying and was about to call her on it until he focused on her face until he saw her face, it looked comfused and if he didn't know any better flushed. So je decided to let slide this time.

When they arrived at the lake gohan laid down on the ground and too his surprise vidle laid on top of him.
"You seem happy today." He said then smiled. That smile, She thought, could metl glaciers, she had melted into that smile many times but this time was different, this time, she though, she was in love. But that's crazy there's no way he'd like me back he's too immocemt. After a few more minutes of beimg locked in his tight embrace she decided that it was time for her to go home.
"Well gohan I should get home now dads probaly worried about me." Said videl but she couldn't brimg herself to leave his muscular chest.
"I thought you said you had to leave." He said cheekily.
"I would," she said pausing for a minute "but I'm so comfy." She said smiling into his chest
"Well lets stay here tonight."
"Son gohan," she said in a teasind manor"are you asking to sleep with me?"
"Yeah.....wait no that's NOT what I meant." He said franticly trying to explain. Seeing the red on his face made her break into a fit of laughter.

Then next morning they woke up to the buzz of gohans phone.
"Helloo." Gohan said tiredly into the phone.
"WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?!" His mother screamed angrily over the phone. He immediatly hung up the phone. He then looked to his right to see videl curled up laying on his chest. He gently brushes back a strand of her hair. He swore he could see a tiny smile on her pink lips, he then went back to sleep. Hey its Saturday, he thought to himself.
