"But......h-how....what?" I stamper, "how am I a fairy? I have been human all my life."

"Now, Abliqua, let me explain," The fairy says, "You were a fairy, you were born with fairy wings and powers, you were born right here, and we were so happy to have you because, we knew you were special. But one day, we took you to earth to teach you about your powers, we turned away from you and looked back and you were gone. You wandered off somewhere and got taken to an orphanage far away and we couldn't find you anywhere." a memory flashes before my eyes, the time I was 5 and remember the maid yelling at me for not finishing my dinner.

"What about my wings?" I say, "What happened to them?"

The fairy shakes his head, "You were on earth for so long, and your body didn't get enough fairy atmosphere, your wings shriveled up and disappeared."

I look at the fairy, "How do you know all this?" I say, shocked, yet amazed.

"Let me explain more," The fairy says, ignoring my question, " You were in the orphanage for 5 years, then, one day, you were adopted by two lovely people, Mr and Mrs. Ling."

My eyes widen, "I was adopted?" I say and he nods,

"They named you Abby, and you were so special to them." he grabs my hand, "But right now, we need your help."

I pull my hand out of his grasp, "First, before I do anything, I want to know who you are."

The fairy looks at me and bows, his eyes fill with confidence, "My name is King Lisper, king of all of Cothia. call me Lisper." He lowers his eyes and they fill with sadness. "But my kind and I won't last very long."

I look at Lisper, "What do you mean?" I say, concerned.

Lisper's eyes gaze back up to me, "Cothia, is in danger."

"How?" I say.

"The 8 elements of Fairies have been thrown all over the world thanks to a massive fairy earthquake, and we can't find them anywhere!" Lisper says, "Without these elements, Cothia will lose its color!"

I look at Lisper, confused, "But, how? I don't understand." At that moment, a drip of blue liquid slides off of Lispers blue robe.

"Like that!" Lisper says, a panic look on his face, "In just 10 days, all of the color in cothia will be gone! Please! You are our only hope! Cothia's only hope!"

"But, how am I your only hope? Can't anyone else save Cothia? Why me?" I say, confused.

"Because, only one person in the whole world can handle all the elements at once and not blow up." Lisper gestures to the watering can and the cage, "You are the only fairy that can control all of the elements because before you wandered off, we were training you to find your element of magic and you could hold all of them, at the same time!"

"Wait, woah woah woah, slow down" I say, my head pounding, "How can I save Cothia, and how did you know all of this? About my human life, and everything else? You weren't there!

Lisper grins, "I'm the king! I know everything!" He chuckles, a playful smile on his face "and the future faires told me."

At that moment, lots of drips of white start flying down from the ceiling. Lisper's smile fades and grows sad as he looks at the drips of white as they come falling down and hit the gold and white tiled floor. "Alas, Cothia and the fairies are not going to last for very long under these conditions," Lisper sighs, "please, please will you help Cothia revive and come back to life, Abliqua? We need your help, desperately."

I stare at Lisper, then at my hands, I'm Abliqua? I was a fairy? I actually lived here? Thoughts swirl around in my head, and then I make a decision, with eyes filled with determination, and confidence, I say, "Just tell me what to do, and I will come back and be the true person that I am, Abliqua."
