Dear Dark Girl
---------------------------------------------

Dear Dark Girl,

Your slate gray eyes lay unfamiliar to your chocolate skin.
Your flowing, thick, brown hair that smells of coconut and crisp Peruvian water.
Your voice, subtle in accent and culture.
Those hips, that sway in the wind like the summer palm trees.
The way you carry yourself contrary and enticing.
Your lips, kind and welcoming, gently dusted with freckles.
And as the day comes to an end, the pink from her face leaves like the departing sunset.

I think I'm in love with a "dark girl."
