The Accident

I pressed play on my iPod as Crown the Empire flooded my ears. I was thinking of my friend Bryce. He hasn't texted me all day.

Then I suddenly got a text from Hunter, Bryce's best friend. "Bryce is hurt Nessa! Some dude lost control of his car and hit Bryce!"

What! No, no that can't be true. Bryce of all people. "What! You've got to be kidding Hunter! Is he okay!"

"Yea, but he has a broken arm and he hit his head on concrete. He has been freakin out and telling me to tell you," Hunter explains.

"When did it happen?"

"Yesterday, I got to see him for the first time today."

"Hunter?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you please come get me?"

"Yea, me and my brother are on our way."

Bryce lived in Columbus, Ohio. Three hours away from Pittsburgh, Pa. I need to see him. I can't cope with this.

******************************** 5 and a half hours later*****

"We are almost at the hospital Ness," Hunter says pulling my earphones out of my ears.

"Okay,"I say with no emotion.

I sat there the whole car ride listening to tragic love songs. Not even my happy hyped up music could help my mood.

I was so worried. I couldn't stand to think Bryce was hurt. We pulled up to a huge hospital. I got out of the car and me and and Hunter ran inside.

We walked up to the desk and Hunter said,"we are here to see Bryce Begian."

"He is on the sixth floor room 696. Here are your visitor passes," she said gloomily. Well you can tell she doesn't brighten up the place.

We practically run to the elevator and get on and I press the six button." Nessa it's okay calm down," Hunter tries to tell me.

I ignore him and run to 696. I burst into the room and see Bryce laying in a bed with cords attached all over his arms . His head is bandaged and his arm is in a cast.

I start crying and slowly walk over. I let out a sob and then Bryce opens his eyes and he practically jumps to me when I hug him.

"Nessa! What are you doing here!" He gasps.

"Hunter told me what happened. Oh my god Bryce are you okay!"I sob into his shoulder.

"I'm okay babe. I'm okay."

"I thought I lost you!"

"But you didn't. I promised I wouldn't go away."

In look up at him and just roughly kiss him. He kissed me back with the exact same roughness but filled with passion.

He pulls away."Nessa it's okay I'm here and I'm okay."

"I know. I love you Bryce."

"I love you too Nessa. With all my god damn heart."

OMG I was practically crying the whole time writing this! I thought of this and started bawling and thought this would be perfect to put on her. And I also said screw it to changing the guys names so there my best friends name is Bryce and I do love him with all my heart. I would totally go all the way to Columbus to see him if he was hurt.
