He looked up towards the dark night sky, it was twilight. He knew he had been gone a long time, but Bunnymund was his true form again, and the journey home began at first light. Jack never did sleep much. The other Guardians slept to pass the time of night, but night was when Jack felt he had nothing to hide. No light to distract his sight, his senses were at their prime. His foot rocked back and forth slowly, it hung off the branch he was laying on, gazing at the stars. He wondered, what could I bring back for Elsa? But deep down he knew, just coming home would make her so very happy, and that was his plan. Jack couldn't wait to see the bright blue eyes he loved dearly, light up with joy. No doubt Anna and Kristoff were married now. It was only a matter of time before him and Elsa were the same.
Of course there was the issue that Elsa was not an immortal. The moon had not granted her with that, yet. But Jack had prayed and willed, and he felt Manny was swaying to agree that Elsa would make an excellent Guardian of Bravery and Love. Jack smiled to himself; she would make a wonderful Guardian. He sighed in delight at the thought of Elsa being his wife. Finally he had found someone who understood him, who knew him better than anyone else. It was a relief and there was no way Elsa would be hurt by anyone or anything. Not while she was his.
Suddenly there was a rustle, and someone stirred. There was the sound of fluttering and a small yawn. Slowly Jack sat up from his resting position and looked to where the Guardians were sleeping in the sleigh. Tooth was awake.
"Tooth?" Jack said softly. The fairy looked to him and smiled softly, but still looked troubled. He beckoned her over and she flew beside him. "Everything alright?" He asked.
"I guess." She smiled again.
"What's wrong?" He asked. She sighed and looked at him.
"You've fallen in love."
