chapter one.

My chest was rising and falling violently while my lungs gasped for air; long legs took long strides in a hurry while I ran, my arms in front of my body to push through the branches to ease my way through the trail. Every time I think that my legs are going to give out, I didn't have the choice to stop. I had no control over myself, just running- with no idea to where my destination was.

But then I saw it, the figure ahead of me. Was the figure ahead of me always there before? She was running, long legs herself striding ahead while her arms moved up and down, following her fast pace. I was following her, but... who was she? Her long chestnut hair followed behind her body, gracefully flowing along with the wind behind her. 

Curiosity flooded through my body, filling my veins and I ran faster this time, pushing myself. It wasn't until she looked back that I got a quick glance of her face. Thankfully a single ray of sun landed upon her face, causing my own green eyes to widen.

"Addie!" I yelled, forcing myself to move faster. "Addie, wait! Please- stop!" I screamed, this time louder. Though I only seemed to receive my own echo; as if I was in a secluded room with the walls close to each other, filled with nothing but emptiness.

All of a sudden, she disappeared. My legs came to a stop, my body turning while I looked and searched for her. My lips parted while the pants escaped my lips, my fingers gripping and tugging on the strands of my own hair in frustration. "Where are you?" I whimper.

"Harry?"

My head snapped back behind me, the voice as if it was an angel speaking to me. That's when I saw her, her beauty exposed by the tree's around her. "Addie.." I whisper back in response, my breaths slowly calming while I watched her step close to me. Our eyes were completely attached, my eyes staring into her chocolate brown orbs with every step she took. 

"Where have you been?" I whisper, my right hand raising so that my knuckles could brush against her cheek; her arms wrapped around my middle. I watched while her eyes closed, taking in the moment myself before her eyes fluttered back open to look up at me. 

"Come find me."

 She whispered, my eyebrows furrowing before a blood curling sound echoed through the forest; causing both of us to back away from each other and place our hands on top of our ears, our body's bending over in agony before collapsing onto the ground. My hand began to pat around the ground, in search before my fingertips met a piece of metal and pressed against it- and the sound was gone. She was gone

My eyes fluttered open, only to find myself in my own room; laying in my bed while covered in sweat. Another dream of her... Was my head trying to tell me something? My left hand pushed my body up, the blankets falling from my chest to bunch around my hips while my free hand rubbed my face and ran through my hair.

I felt the bed shift slightly, the blankets moving a bit more before I felt a hand run up my back slowly, run through my hair and caress my cheek. My head turned to look at Elizabeth, both corners of my lips slowly curving into a tired smile.
