Scary and funny things?

A girl in my class told me this story about her cousin. So her cousin had just moved into a new apartment in Chicago and was a little scared to be on her own for the first night because she didn't know the area. This guy that she kind of knew,but wasn't really that close to, suggested that he stay the night with her to make her feel better. So he stayed with her that night and he agreed to sleep on the couch.

At some point, she went to her room to change her clothes and left her door a little but cracked open and she caught the guy staring at her from the living room. She got freaked out and shut her door and then went to bed. After about 5 minutes, the guy came to her door and asked if she wanted to go down the street to get some ice cream. And she was like "it's 3AM,I don't want ice cream" and he said "I want ice cream. Will you come with me?" and she said no again. He kept asking her and asking her.

So eventually he convinced her to go get some ice cream with her. When they got outside, he pulled out his cell phone and called 911. She asked what he was doing and he said "there was a man under your bed with a knife. I had to get you out of the house."
