It's a week until Christmas and Hazel still doesn't know what she is doing for her Christmas party.  She still has to get the food ready the times ready , presents for all her guests, and more planning. Suddenly Hazel gets a call on her cell. It's from Ryan.

" Hey what's up." he says putting her on speaker phone.

"Ugh, party planning for next week. I really need help I don't know how to plan a party, This is my first party, and..." He cut her off there.

" Woah, woah, woah, Okay slow down I will be right over just wait and calm down, okay?" He stated with a calm voice.

" Okay hurry please or I'm gonna flip."

"Okay I'll be there in ten minutes." He lives all the way on the other side of town so it will take him a little while.  Hazel was pacing after he hung up because she's still nervous and doesn't think things will work out.  After ten minutes  He shows up. " Okay now first things first, You need to decorate the house, outside and in."

" Well I don't have any decorations, not even a tree. " Hazel falls back onto her couch in despair.

" Let's go shopping for decorations, and maybe we can go to that new sandwich place down the street?" He stands up putting his hand out helping her off the couch. She grabs his hand firmly so she doesn't go flying when he pulls her. Yet she does, and right into him. she backs up, laughs, and her face goes all red like a tomato. "What store is best for decorations. Marcs, Micheals, Target, you name it."

"I don't know really" Hazel does know, but she just has to much stuff on her mind that she can't think straight. She grabs her coat and puts on her shoes and they both walk out to her car. He puts the car in gear and they head off to some random store and go shopping. It's really quiet on the car ride there until Ryan broke the silence, "So what kind of food do you want, and how much?"

"Well I invited about twenty people so that says something. And I'm thinking about sandwiches like those cute little ones on a platter, and maybe some fruit platters and chips." Hazel was on her phone making little checklists. She got the food down so Ryan decided to hit target first. They were in and out of there in about an hour because Hazel saw some decorations that she had liked.

Next they went to a few more stores and got a whole lot of decorations. Ryan had to stop back at her place after every other store because of how much stuff they got. After they hit about five stores they went to the mall. Hazel and Ryan both needed outfits for the party. Hazel went straight to H&M, while Ryan went to Macy's. They met at the food court thirty minutes later. Hazel got this cute black lace dress that fit her real good that it showed off every curve on her,  and she has a really good hourglass figure. Ryan had gotten a nice pair of jean and a plaid button up that fit him good to, plus the color looks good on him.

"Well, are we set?" He said checking the time.

"Yeah are you? Do we have time for sandwiches?" She questions walking out to the car.

They both get there subs and head back to Hazels place. They put on a movie that Ryan had brought over. It was one Hazel hasn't seen before, A Christmas story. Ryan sits on the couch just across the tv and Hazel sits right next to him. After an hour later Ryan has his arm around Hazel and hazel is resting on his shoulder. Neither one realizes there doing it. When the movies over Hazel has fallen asleep curled up next to Ryan. Ryan checks the time. 11:45pm, Ryan slowly wakes Hazel up. She gets up and rubs her eyes checking the time.

"Is it really that late?" She asks getting up and stretching. "Well if that's so, why don't you spend the night I don't want anything to happen to you this late."

"Okay, I'll just get the couch. I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow so it's fine." He says pulling the blanket off of the back of the couch getting comfortable. Hazel goes up to her room and once she hits the pillows she's out like a light.

The next morning Hazel wakes up and smells something good coming from the kitchen, Ryan ha made breakfast. She walks down and into the good smelling kitchen. "Well look whose up early, why so early?"

" I usually wake up early. Eggs?" I grab a plate of eggs and after that we get started on the days work.

By the end of the day the have all of the outside of the house all fixed up pretty and the tree all set up.

The next few days Ryan came over for a few hours before heading off to work.

It's Christmas and the hours are ticking down to her party. Hazel is really trying to impress so she is cleaning all day non-stop. By the time it's four she heads up takes a quick shower and gets dressed and does her makeup. It's six and her doorbell rings. It's Ryan. She opens it up and lets him in. "Wow, how did I know you would be the first to show."

"Lucky guess, here I brought you something." He hands her a small box with a note on it saying "Don't open until X-mas."

"Thank you. Do you like my display, I find it quite pleasurable." She leads him into the kitchen.

"It looks nice. How did it takes you to set this up, Two three hours?" He asks very jokingly. Hazel slaps him on the arm playfully laughing herself. It only took her half an hour.

Hours went by and people started showing up. She was really glad Ryan came to set up everything in advance. For a few hours she walked around saying hello to everyone and thanked everyone for showing up.

She walks over and talks to Ryan. "Man, this hosting thing is really hard. I wonder  how people do it?"

Ryan is just smiling laughing on the inside, but just smiling at Hazel. "What do I have something in my teeth? Oh god, I knew had shouldn't of had..." Ryan stops her mid sentence and points upward.

"I don't remember buying that, did you?"

"Yeah I do I bought it last night, when I was out and about."  There is a mistletoe hanging above them. Hazel blushes and looks down. Ryan tilts her head up and looks into her eyes. "You look very stunning in that dress, and with your hair all put together." Hazel blushes even more, her face is all red. The next moment Ryan puts his arms around Hazel and brings her in closer. She looks up at him blood-shot red in the face. In the next second Ryans face gets closer  to Hazel. There faces are an inch away. Ryan leans in and places on right on her lips. She feels the heat going through her body as their lips touched. Hazel has her arms around the back of his neck. They then pulled away from each other.

Hazel blushes even more and hides her face. Ryan moves her face to where shes looking right at him. Ryan smiles, pecks her cheek and walks away to talk to some other people. Hazel stands there in a haze. She certainly felt something in that kiss, something that she hasn't felt in a long time.

After everyone, but Ryan left Hazel plops on the couch in exhaust. " Now that that's over"

Ryan sits next to her on the couch smiling, "I had a great time tonight. Thank you." He kisses her a few more times. "Lets make it a better night." He whispers into her ear. Ryan picks Hazel up off the couch kissing her left and right making their way up the steps. Ryan unzips the back of her dress while Hazel is unbuttoning his shirt. They make their way into Hazels room and close the door. Tonight turned out to be a great night for both Ryan and Hazel.
