The other side of the bed dips and creaks, causing me to wake up. "It's time to wake up Dev." Donny puts his hand on my shoulder and turns me around so we make eye contact. "I'm really sorry about last night. I-I wasn't thinking..."

"It's okay Don, but what's up?" I ask rubbing my eyes.

"Well I wanted to sign you into the school today and I'm asking to see if you wanted to go." He says uncertainly, pondering if he should take the suggestion back.

"Okay, just let me get ready." I flash him a smile before rolling out bed and pushing him out of the room. Walking to my closet I pull out the first items of clothing I see, which happen to be a pale yellow crop top that says "loyal", and a pair of navy blue jean shorts pairing them with black high tops and a  gold chain necklace. I decide to leave my hair down in slight waves and put on purple eyeshadow, mascara and finally piled three bracelets onto my right wrist and a ring on my right index finger.

"Are you ready to go?" My brother asks throwing on his leather jacket while handing me mine.

"Yup, let's go." The car ride is us blasting music and we both sing along with the windows down and the wind blowing through our hair.

We reach our destination after about 15 minutes. There's a sign in the front lawn of the large brick building that reads:

"Greenwood High School:
Basketball game tonight at 6:00
Falcons vs. Bears
School play: Macbeth from 5:00-6:50"

Climbing out of the car, I realize that everyone that's standing in the schoolyard is ogling us and our ride. I smirk and walk side by side with my brother into the school, following all of the signs that say "front office".

"Hello, how may I assist you?" A middle aged woman with dark curly hair and large round eyes asks us as we enter the office.

"Um, hi. I was just coming to get my sister's schedule and supply list, she'll be starting tomorrow." Donovan smiles politely at the lady and she smiles back.

"Is the schedule under the name Taylor?" We nod in unison and she types away on her computer before grabbing a few papers from a printer. "Here you go young lady, and welcome to Greenwood High, home of the Falcons." We say our goodbyes to the lady who's nameplate says "Mrs. Lori" and walk back out into the crowded hall. There are a lot of wolf whistles as I walk back towards the exit of the building, but someone catches my attention.

Standing by the door, is the boy I beat at the club the other day. And on top of that, I stole more of his money. Oh well, I strut past him winking as I catch him staring. My conscious laughs at the idea of me in a school like this, I'm probably the biggest player here. Even compared to the boy who's surrounding himself with girls wearing heels, mini skirts, low-cut tank tops and way too much makeup. But even he stops to watch me walk away.

Donny rolls his eyes at my smirk and jumps into his car. "Do you have to go around doing that? You're supposed to make friends not try and see how many people you can play in a day."

"Well I'll take that challenge, I'm betting the school's male population will be head over heels for me on the first day." I state staring at him as he face palms himself.

"That's not what I'm saying at all! You need to be on your best behavior and try to play nice. I don't doubt that they'll fall at your feet tomorrow but you should really focus on getting a good education." Donny rambles, cue the eye roll.

"Fine, I'll focus on school, but I'm only doing this for you." He smiles at me and I smile back genuinely.

"Good, now let's go supply shopping."
