Chapter 4

Tonight is the full moon and I couldn't stop pacing the room. It was more like a jail cell than a bedroom.

"Can I come out yet? "

"I dunno, you a wolf yet? "

"Screw you guys in the asshole!" What? I didn't want to say that!
"Keyanna, why am I so angry lately?"
There was only silence.
"Tell me now you God dammed rim sucker! I'm so sorry, don't really have control over my words! I didn't mean it! "

"It's natural, I've heard worse." She sounded so calm, and I was here cursing my tongue off.

Then, like a scene from a horror movie, it happens. I'm on my hands and knees howling in pain. Literally howling, the pain of Turning was way worse than I was hoping.

"Why does it hurt so fucking much?"

"It's like sex, it hurts only the first time!"

"Thanks for the help Heidi! Really appreciate it! " I look at my hands and long, sharp claws tear through. My wolf body is so much bigger than my normal one. I rip through my clothes and howl even louder. I'm in a frenzy. I look around, in a panic for anyone to help.

I'm in full wolf form on all fours for the first time. It's amazing and painful at the same time.

I try  to speak but only a horrid snarl comes out. The door is opened and a braided rope thrown over my neck.

Heidi, Keyanna and Travis are easy to decipher as wolves but there's a fourth. Who is he?

Looking up I notice they're all looking ay me. Before I can slink to a corner, I catch the stranger's eyes. I notice that they turned a golden hue when we locked eyes.

It's okay Tia. I'm White Thorn, alpha of the Galloway Pack. He looks back at my friends, who I barely know anymore, then back at me.

Hold up, did he just talk in my mind? And I heard him??

Heidi, Keyanna and Travis change into people again but White Thorn stays a wolf.

I manage to whimper, "H-how do I turn back to normal? " that sounded way weaker than I had hoped. Especially in front of Thorn. I didn't want a bad Rep.

Thorn laughs as he stands up as a man. He had gray eyes, brown hair and was very tall. Slender but muscular, and he did this thing where he'd smile but only one side would curve up.

"You just, do it." Whoa, a deep voice too, but not too deep.

"Okay, that's helpful. " Oh my sarcastic side never fails.

Thorn kneels down to my level and whispers, "It's like when you meet the most famous person in the world, what would you do?'

"I would uh, be um, I'd draw a blank."

"Bingo. " I smile and nod. I concentrate and it fails the first time. Until Travis ushers me to try again.

I clear my throat and concentrate as hard as I could and the next thing I know, Thorn is dashing out of the room like lightning. I look down and it's just my bare skin, nothing else. Travis is turned around with a set of clothes behind his back in the closes off room.

"We figured you'd need these."

"Uuuh, yeah. Just a little! " When I grab the clothes I slide on the shirt and could barely get the sweatpants on before Heidi and Keyanna barge in like elephants.

"Privacy would be nice!"

"But in a pack we see others naked all the time, eh sometimes. Anyway you're probably wondering why lover-boy ran out like that. Well he can't see you unclothed until you two have completed the mating ritual. And it isn't sex, even though it sounds an awful lot like it. " Sometimes I swear Keyanna knows to much about any subject.

"When will I see him again?"

"Not until the harvest moon, next month." Travis chimes in.

"What!?" I see a hot guy who is going to be my mate and I can't  see him again until next month???
