A few weeks have passed now and the gang have been making changes, big changes. They have people watching over everyone of their family members from aunties and uncles, to grandparents and cousins. Selena has people watching over Justin as well as everyone else. They've notified everyone of their colleagues about whats to happen even the invisible one Max .who's Selena and Jordan's secret weapon the undercover look-out that no one knows about. Hes never at the gang meetings, hes never been seen with either one of them. He simply gets his information from hacking into the computers, tv, phones, etc.

Selenas POV

That phone call I had with Justin the other day was the last we've spoken in nearly a week.

He hasn't been to school all week, hasn't answered any of my calls or texts and honestly its starting to trouble me

walking out of the school clearly in my own world. I heard someone talk but I was way too zoned out to even hear what they had to say

"huh?" I said facing the person as I pushed open the door to the chilly December weather

"Going, home?"

"Oh, uhm- something like that" I said carefully walking down the steps

"Oh"

"Yea" I said and started towards my car when they forcefully grabbed my arm. If I was the average girl that probably would of hurt but being who I am it didn't.

clenching my jaw I yanked my arm out "What Dylan?" I face him

his hands disappear into his pockets like he never meant to grab me like he just did "I was hoping that maybe we could hang out today" he shrugs, smiling down at me. probably trying to muster up the most charming and persuading smile ever.

Only if he knew how bad he made my insides turn or how sick it made me feel.

"I kinda have something to deal with" I point behind me "So I gotta get going..."

I began walking backwards

"Okay maybe later?" he tried "yeah" I fake a smile
before taking off to my car

knocking on Justin's door I stood there waiting for the door to open

When a strange man opens the door

"Uhm, hi. Can I help you?"

"Uh, yea is Justin here" I fake yet another smile

opening the door wider "Come on in while I go get him" he smiles sadly before leaving me to come in as he goes up the stairs

walking inside I close the door behind me and just stand there.

I'm holding on to the strap of my bag when Justin finally comes down

A sudden gasp escapes my lip as I stare at him in shock. His hair was a ruffling mess, his eyes were red and puffy like he'd just been bawling his insides out, his face was so pale like he hasn't been getting any rest

" What's wrong" I drop my bag on the floor to

charge up to him

his eyes glazed over like he wanted to cry

he steps down off the last step so now his face is reachable

for me to caress in my hands "it's okay to cry Jay" he doesn't answer me he just leans more into my touch

I pull his arm towards the couch and sit us down

a tear slips out his left eye "Jay" I whisper wrapping my arms around his back as he puts his head in my neck

"It's okay" I cooed into his ear placing a gentle kiss on his neck

"Someone ran my mom over" he whispered, his voice shaky 

I took a deep breath, not really sure if I wanted to know the rest

"Wh- what" breathing deeply into my neck he said " few days ago, my mom got hit b-y a car"
