Today was another day of practice. Their concert was near, so all the members were practicing in the studio. Their schedule was packed full with photoshoots, vocal training, dance training, group training, which means that the couples got less time with each other.

Luhan got called out by the manager. With an odd feeling about this, all he did was to leave the studio and go to the office. The rest of the members were curious of this meeting, since they have barely see manager alone, unless of private matter.

In the office

"Luhan, come in." Manager said, while looking at some files. Pictures.

"So what is it you want?" Luhan asked nervously, because the last time he was here alone, in this office, not so good thing happened.

"Let's just say you should let the ships sink. And you will be the cause to it." Manager said. He then threw the pictures across the table, showing pictures of Sulay, Baekyeol, Taoris, Kaisoo, Xiuchen and lastly, Hunhan.

A brittle silence stretched between them. Luhan could feel his heartbeat pulsing, his mind is full with unfiltered rage, straining against the barrier that held back his will to shout out his thoughts.

'How did he get these shots?' Luhan questioned himself.

"You know what I mean about letting the ships sink now. So make it happen." Manager shouted.

He swallowed hard and waited, hoping that the manager was just joking. Because then he would be forced to make a choice, and he didn't know which choice to choose.

To choose his lover

Or

To choose his career

Luhan's POV

"I have a proposition for you."

Instantly suspicious, I stiffened, and manager sighed. "Oh, don't give me that look Luhan. I am a reasonable guy." He smiled dangerously. "You will end this relationship with Sehun once and for all, and leave. If you don't comply, you and your career shall say bye bye to this industry."

"I have no reason to break up with him," I growled. "There's nothing you can do that will make me ruin my relationship with Sehun." I started to make my way out of this office.

"Well, that's a shame. I hope you may listen to what I have to say after this." Manager replied.

I paused a few feet from the door, I could feel manager's smug, knowing grin at my back and, hating myself, turned slowly back around. "What are you talking about?"

"Like I said Luhan, I have a proposition for you. One where both you and Sehun would have a happy life, or where both you and Sehun would have a damned life. So if you don't break up with him, I will make sure that you and that lover boy of yours will be doomed." He grinned at my startled expression. "So what do you say, Luhan? Would you be selfish and stay with Sehun, or will you be compassionate kid and do as you're told?"

"Fine," I said. "But when I leave, do not hurt Sehun in any way."

"Don't worry, Sehun would be in good condition." Apparently satisfied, manager agreed.

I shot manager one last glare before stomping out of the office, straight back to the dorm. I can't face Sehun or the rest of the member right now. The sooner I leave, the better they will be.

You have to leave him. You have to leave Sehun, your beloved. Your life. Your love.

I was back at the dorm now, packing everything that belongs to me inside the grey suitcase. I was so drown in my own tears, that I did not hear Sehun entering the room. When I turned around, there he was. The man that I love, no, the man that I loved.

"Where are you going?"

"I-I," I can't seem to find my courage to tell him, but I have to. "I am leaving Exo."

There was moment of silence, where Luhan's tears just keep flowing.

"Luhan." Sehun' voice was raspy. My heart sank, and I turned to have those soft brown eyes. They glittered with confusion, anger and betrayal, as he shook his head. "Please tell me you have a valid reason to just leave Exo, to just leave me."

I was speechless, not knowing how to answer that. What Sehun ask me to do is that something I can't. I can't stay, I can't love.

Can't

I took all my luggages and went downstairs, where all the members were. I faced them, and said.

"Thank you for the times. I appreciated it."

I bowed, then turned around and hold on the door knob. As I was about to twist the knob, a familiar voice spoke up and stopped me.

"What happened to us? We are one, right?" Suho asked, while the rest of the members

"No," I stopped and turned around. I gathered all my courage and said, "We used to be one." With one last glance at the members and Sehun, I twisted the doorknob.

Then there was nothing stopping me. I stepped out with the icy wind greeting me. I held my hand out to gesture for a taxi to stop. A yellow cab turned up and in no time, I was already standing by the boarding gates, one hand holding my suitcase, with the other one holding my passport and boarding pass. I turned around and said,

"Goodbye Exo, good bye Sehun."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luhan woke up the next morning in a slight familiar yet strange place. White walls and furnitures stared back at him as he rose, pausing a moment to remember where he was. A glance at the luggages revealed that the worst had happened. He was now back in China, in his room. The very room that he grew up in. All the memories came back,

"I have a proposition for you."

"So what do you say, Luhan? Would you be selfish and stay with Sehun, or will you be compassionate kid and do as you're told?"

"Please tell me you have a valid reason to just leave Exo, to just leave me."

Luhan laid back on his bed, reminiscing all the good times he had with Exo, with Sehun. Tears streamed down his face non-stop, and he let them stream down.

"Luhan!" Mrs Xi was by the door, knocking to check on Luhan.

No answer.

She decided to not pressure him for now. He had a rough day yesterday. She still don't know what happened.

Flashback to last night

Mrs Xi came to door after she hear knocks. She opened the door, only to find a broken Luhan outside in the rain, with his grey suitcase.

"Oh, Luhan." Mrs Xi gasped.

"Mother, I ---" Luhan broke down in front of his mother. Mrs Xi took him inside, where Luhan just sat on the couch, still crying.

After a while, Mrs Xi ushered Luhan to go upstairs and change. Since he is soaked from the rain, there, he decided to take his luggages up and call it a night.

Luhan went upstairs and head straight to his bed. Don't care about changing his clothes or unpacking him luggages. Sorrow drowned himself, and he just fell deeper. The whole night, he was crying. Until sleep had consumed him.
