Chapter 23- Gah! Wrong impression dude;

(Robbis POV)

At that moment, there was an impatient knock at the door, causing me to jump away from Nate as he did the same.

Wow. I guess we know he has one brain cell now at least.

I smirked to myself, before the door was hammered again, along with a screeching voice. “ROBBI! GET YOUR SORRY ASS OUT HERE NOW!”

I groaned at the sound of Alex’s wind chimed voice, now screaming at me.

“DUDE OPEN THE DAMN DOOR!”

I rolled my eyes before going to the door and shooting Nate an act-casual-and-if-you-say-anything-about-that-kiss-to-anyone-I-will-rip-your-head-off look.

He smirked, obviously understanding, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

Pulling the door open I smiled sweetly at my best friend, and was met by a death glare from her.

“Where the fuck have you been?!” She scowled, pushing past me. “You cant go skipping sch-”

Her voice cut off as she noticed Nate, sitting on my bed, leaning back on his hands, still shirtless, and I internally groaned as a low growl escaped me.

Gah. And there goes his one brain cell.

Does that dude want me to whack him upside the head?!

Alexs’ eyes flickered from Nate to me, and back to Nate again, before she let out a scream.

I covered my ears, frowning. This is the one time in my life that I’m not thankful for my awesome wolf senses.

Damn that chicks got a scream on her!

I pulled my hands away, frowning at her, as her scream cut off.

“Oh my god! What did I just interrupt?! MY EYES! MY INNOCENT EYES!”

I rolled my eyes, and shot a glare at Nate, who hadn’t moved; His face still set in a firm smirk as he winked at me behind Alexs’ back.

Did I mention I hate that douche?

Ass wipe he is!

I began to speak but Alex cut me off by spinning around to Nate, and death glaring him.

In your face lover boy!

I smiled sweetly at him from behind Alex, and his smirk turned into a frown as he glared at both me and her.

“Nate! We need to talk. Now!” She all but growled at him, and my smirk grew even bigger as I inwardly taunted him.

Natey boys in trouble. Natey boys in trouble. I sang in my head, internally laughing at his face as he tried to pull the innocent look on Alex.

Ha sucker! That dude could not look innocent if his life depended on it!

Actually by the look on Alexs’ face, his life does depend on it.

Run Forest Run!

I pushed a hand to my mouth, stifling my laughter.

“Alex!” Nates’ smile faded as he growled her name, obviously getting annoyed at her interruption.

She didnt even flinch at his tone, even though I instinctively took a step back.

If only she knew that she was yelling at a very hot tempered, strong, hot, werewolf.

I did not just call Nate hot. Fuck. My. Life.

“What the hell have you done now Nate? Are you trying to hurt Robbi? Do you want to hurt my best friend? I’ll kick your sorry ass to Texas if you hurt her!”

I smiled at the protectiveness in Alexs’ voice, but I could feel the confusion on my face from her words.

How was he gonna hurt me? Even if we had done something?

WHICH WE DIDNT! I shuddered at the thought.

Urgh. Images dude. Images!

“We didnt do anything.” Nate growled, and I sent him a warning look. Does he want everyone to find out that he’s a wolf?!

Hey guys, it’s me, Nate. Oh yeah, I can magically turn into a giant angry wolf whenever I want. But hey, dont worry, I probably wont eat you.

Yeah that would go totally well.

Even my awesome ninja skills wouldn’t be able to save him.

“Hey douche bag! Dont talk to my best mate like that or I’ll knock your head off!” I glared at him, forcing the warning into my voice and eyes.

Alex turned to give me a smirk, before facing Nate again.

Ha. Take that motherfucker. Two against one!

I smirked to myself, full on enjoying Nates’ discomfort.

Nate turned his glare to me “Stay outta this girl!”

“What did I say about calling me that?”

I scowled at him, smirking slightly as his lips twitched up in the corners as he fought back a smirk of his own.

Alexs’ voice cut us out of our bickering. “Nate. We need to talk. NOW!” She scowled at him some more and he sighed.

“You know you’re really easy to hate Alex”

She just scoffed and rolled her eyes, turning to me.

“Sorry to barge in on you like this Rob.” She grinned and gave me a hug, practically tackling me to the floor in the process.

“Dude. Air. Now. Dude.” She jumped away, smirking, before turning to Nate “Come on asshat.”

Girls got guts I’ll give ya that.

I expected Nate to be mad at the name. If it were me who said it, I woulda got a right mouthful; but instead he just shook it off, pushing past Alex and stopping in front of me.

My eyes trailed down his naked chest, and I growled lowly at myself under my breath.

Dude. Stop pervin’ on your mate!

I pulled my eyes away, only to see him smirking down at me. “Stop mentally undressing me girl!” He growled lowly, a smirk in his voice.

I slapped his arm softly, allowing him to pull away and make his way over to the door.

“Bye Alex!” I grinned at her and she waved back. “Bye Douche bag!” And with that, they left my room, Alex practically dragging Nate along by the arm.

Ha. The big strong werewolf, being bossed around by the 5 foot 3 human girl.

Now that’s a thing to see!
