'Finally, after years of waiting and fanboying, Im finally gonna see them' Luke thought as he stared at his 5 Seconds of Summer poster or 5sauce for short. Luke has been a fan of the three piece 4 years ago when he saw a scrawny Michael Clifford with blonde hair and a long fringe and a timid smile (which Luke thought was cute) do a cover of Ron Pope's A Drop in The Ocean. Luke was glad Michael was only a year older than him so he wouldn't have to worry about ridiculously large age gaps which has become a common epidemic in fandoms.

"Come on Ashley, we're gonna be late!" Luke screamed at her friend who has taking time putting on her liner wings, wanting to look 'good' for Calum. "Calm your non-existent tits! Im coming" Ashley yelled back.

Soon enough , the two arrived at Allphones Arena, pumped more than they have ever been in their whole lives. "Ready Ashley?" Luke asked. "Ready Luke." The two held hands and entered the arena, ready to get immersed into the music that they both call their escape.

Guess its safe to say that Luke Hemmings is gay. He has been all his life. He never played with barbie dolls or things like that he played with boy stuff like robots and gundams, and amidst all that, he still can't love the opposite gender. When he was twelve, he came out to parents. He didn't try and love the opposite sex and go on dates with girls, he was just quiet. He was that kid that you never knew existed. Luckily, he bumped into a girl with a boy cut in math class (luke thought that he would go bisexual for someone like her). He soon learned her name was Ashley Frangipane but she liked to be called Halsey and it was only Luke who was allowed to call her Ashley so thats why the rest of the school called her Halsey. The story how the two became friends was a peculiar story. They both met through a video game called 'Sword Art Online' and they joined guilds and cleared the whole game. And because of that, the two were inseparable and Luke was happy to have Ashley by her side and he was happy that she didn't have a problem being gay cause they were members of the LGBTQ+ community. Ashley told Luke she was bisexual last year and Luke hugged her tight and accepted her with arms wide open. Another good thing about them is that they both fangirl/boy over the same band for the last 4 years. They would listen to their music in all occasions. Like when Ashley is PMSing or Luke is having a mental breakdown or when they're riding the bus, they would always play the band's tunes on earphones and speakers.

Both of them were enjoying the concert but what Luke didn't know was that the Love of his Life was staring at him the whole concert. Michael thought Luke was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen and so when they were playing 'Rejects' and inviting fans to go on stage. Michael immediately picked the 'demigod with blue eyes and majestic blonde hair' as he described Luke. Luke blushed at his words and was a bit hesitant as he was an awkward, lanky year twelve and an eighteen year old boy and he was afraid of tripping on stage or maybe hurt Michael with his clumsiness.
Needless to say, Luke climbed up the stage and both Michael and Luke played an amazing duet of the solo in the song called 'Hotel California' by the Eagles. This actually made Luke quite famous earning him thousands of followers in every social media he had and even garnered a few fans or 'luke girls' as they liked to call themselves. Some fans even went as far as giving Michael a ship name which was 'muke'. Luke was worried that Michael might think that he's one of those obsessive fans but in all honesty, Michael thought Luke was pretty cute and he didn't mind the fans shipping them both, Michael thought it was cute as well. Michael became infatuated with the boy so much he even followed him on Twitter and dmed him saying 'thanks for coming to the concert and playing a wicked guitar solo with me :)' in which Luke responded 'no problem you guys are really good and I enjoyed the concert'. Sitting in the VIP section had its advantages.

Luke and Michael exchange dms regularly and they both became close. On Michael's birthday, Luke dmed him a long message (half a confession letter explaining his undying love for the boy with crazy hair) and even made an exploding box to give to him to the meet and greet, but when Michael didn't respond he grew worried. Michael always responded quickly to his dms but shrugged if off thinking that Michael was only busy.

But Luke was wrong. He realized that when he turned on the tv and saw the news '5 Seconds of Summer frontman Michael Clifford killed in a car accident'. And in that moment, Luke saw his world collapse before his eyes.

Luke was a total wreck. He was a mess. It may seem stupid an exaggerated in the eyes of people but he treated Michael as his world. The one who can make him smile just by smiling even when he had a bad day, the one who inspired him to start playing guitar, the one who taught him to believe in himself, the one who taught him to be himself.

To make matters worse, Luke was diagnosed with stage 3, cancer. But Luke knew better than to end his life. He wasn't selfish like that, so he decided to continue on with his life.

Years passed and Luke has graduated from high school and now worked as a pediatrician in a children's hospital. But what he didn't know was that the ghost of Michael Clifford was looking after him after all these years. Ever since his death, Luke lost the sparkle in his blue eyes in which he saw in the concert back then. The blue eyes he fell in love with even if he was a ghost. Michael admired Luke as he was be able to smile and get along with the children but what made him sad was when Luke gets home to his apartment. Drinking and crying to his heart's content. When Michael thought Luke had too much, Michael would make Luke drop the bottle of Vodka making him think it was his clumsiness that made the bottle drop and break into a million pieces.

Luke stopped medication 3 years ago as he had lost hope of curing himself. He was just waiting to die and to basically put an end to his misery. Every morning, Michael would put aspirin and a note on his bedside table saying 'feel better soon you have work to do. from x' . Since the two were inseparable, Ashley was next door neighbors with Luke and she knew of his drinking problem but she never bothered to give him hangover pills as she was tired from work as well so as soon she gets Luke dressed (Michael was thankful for it and Luke's sexy body) and in bed she leaves. Luke asked Ashley about the pills but she said she never left them there and it made Luke scared because he thought someone had a key to his house but he was thankful at the same time for the person bringing him Aspirin every morning.

Michael always showed his love for Luke in everyday action that people would usually brush off. Like when Luke loses his balance and helps him regains it. When its cold and Michael's ghost will do some weird magic to make the wind somewhat warm and Luke would feel a fuzzy feeling on his face at night when he's about to fall asleep but its just Michael giving him a long loving goodnight kiss. Even if he's a ghost , it hurts him that he loves someone who's alive and doesn't even know it but nonetheless, he dedicated his eternity to watching over the boy he loved.

It was now the year 2025 and today was the day that Luke Hemmings died. He died at 1:30 am in St Luke's Hospital and the cause was of course, cancer.

Luke's ghost separated itself from Luke's body and he found himself in field. Only to realize it was a graveyard but the weird thing was, he saw a man, almost like Michael, standing in front of his grave stone looking at it with sad eyes. When Luke realized it was truly Michael he called his name "Michael?" He called as Michael looked at him with glassy eyes. "Luke!" Michael yelled as ran to Luke's ghost engulfing it in a hug.

Luke never found love when he was alive he just didn't bother to do so. He thought 'Im dying anyways so whats the point'. He was happy with his job and all he wanted was to live his life and that he did not regret. He traveled with his friend, said 'I Love You' to his parents before he died, helped charities. But no one knew he was lonely, desperate for love like no other when he was alive but he decided to ignore it because he knew dying would be hard if he was attached to a significant other.

Luke was very glad he was lonely when he was alive. Its a weird thing to say but does it really matter when your idol also the Love of your Life is telling you what his ghost did for the past years? No it doesn't and hearing all these stories made Luke's dead heart flutter. He may have not found Love when he was alive but he found Love when he's now just a soul but he gets to spend this eternity with the man he loved the most, until his death, Michael Gordon Clifford. And who says forever doesn't exist? Its not enough to just believe in 'Till death do we part' its a whole lot better if we added in weddings 'Till death do we meet.
