Louis flinched as the door slammed hard against its hinges, quickly followed by the roar of a car engine speeding off before silence.

Up to now, the sky had been postcard-perfect, but now it's changing, in just a matter of minutes. The once beautiful cocktail-blue shade was beginning to darken into gravel-grey.

Large pillows of dark clouds were forming, blotting out the old-gold colour of the sun, leaving the house looking eerily dark.

Louis was still sitted at the same spot, dumbfounded. What in the world happened? It was the first time Harry had done something like this to him and Louis was simply loss for words.

They were supposed to go shopping now, where was Harry going, all dressed up? Had he just left like that, not bothering to tell Louis anything at all?

Louis felt anger building up by the passing second. He had so many questions, but with no answers at all.

His mind was starting to come up with all sorts of ridiculous scenarios and Louis had shrugged it all off with a laugh.

"Maybe he went out to get something from his sister?" was the one the older boy had finally settled on.

Trying to distract himself from Harry, Louis went up to his room and grabbed his laptop by the night table.

He jumped in his bed, logging on to Twitter.

He was surprised that his mentions was blowing up, though it was a really common thing.

Pressing the "notifications" button, he hummed as he waited for the page to load.

Nothing would ever be enough to prepare him for what he saw that day, and it was enough to knock his breath out of his lungs.

That day, Louis had knew the hard way that Harry's got a new girlfriend in which he knew absolutely nothing at all about.

The older boy had no idea what he was supposed to feel, was it shock? Sadness? Anger? Jealousy? Pain? Betrayed? Hurt?

Louis knew he was over reacting, but this was the first time Harry had kept something like this from him.

They were best friends and best friends tell each other everything. Maybe not everything but this was the sort of thing best friends tell each other right?

Rain had started pouring down against his window still, making the house look even more depressing.

Louis had wished he wasn't all alone at home, left by himself to self loathe and wanting to just self-destruct and die.

Louis was at the brink of losing his sanity with everything he was thinking and feeling.

Not wanting to feel like this for any second longer, Louis had searched for ways to numb the pain that was threatening to consume him whole.

And Louis' world had came crashing down on him, throwing him into a endless nightmare as Louis pushed a blade against his wrist for the very first time that night.
