Chapter 4

Denise's POV

'I love our mates so much already' I told my witch, as we waited for them to come downstairs. 'I love them to, plus they are sexy.' She replied. I love Alexia's straight blonde hair and green eyes. I like Derek's curly brown hair and hazel eyes. I also love Neil's shaggy black hair and blue eyes.

I started talking as soon as everyone got downstairs. "Millions of years ago my ancestor was best friends with a psychic witch." "She prophesied that four people will be mates." "She stated that each of us will be able to control one element each."

At that everyone gasped. "But it is impossible to control the elements no one has ever been able to do it." Neil spoke. Then all at once everyone started to agree. "Well we can, so shut up!" I said. "Also you know how fairies can take a glance at the past or future, well we can actually visit those times, but luckily there isn't a chance that we can change it no matter what we do."

Neil's POV

All this was very interesting and surprising. We can do things that no one else can. My mates and I are so powerful. Somehow I can tell we won't go power hungry, I just feel the urge to protect all supernatural creatures, even rogues. I am especially protective of my mates.

Wow I still can't believe I have three mates. They are all sexy. 'Of course they are.' my raven replied to my statement. I'm glad our king and queen (my mom and dad) said we could tell our mate who we are and those are the only people we could tell. "I just thought about it, Neil, what are you?" Derek said.

I got really nervous; I thought that they would think I was a freak and that I was hideous. "I'm a raven." Then they looked at me like I was crazy. "Um, babe those are just myths," Derek said. That made me mad that they didn't trust me, so I made my wings shoot out my back and my raven took over. (A/N When ravens bring out there wings there appearance changes.)

When I bring out my wings my hair changes from shaggy and black to spiky and blonde; my eyes change from blue to green. My voice also goes a little bit darker.

Then I heard my raven speak. "You know I told Neil that he didn't have to worry about y'all not believing him and thinking he was a freak because y'all are our mates, but I guess I was wrong and you guys don't believe in us!" He yelled right before he shot us up to my room, locked the door, and gave me control again.

Then I sat on my bed and sobbed because my mates didn't believe me and thought I was crazy. I was also mad at myself for not being good enough for my mates.

Derek's POV

I feel absolutely horrible for making my mate feel like that. We all feel bad. Us three should have believed him when he told us the first time. I am the worst mate in the world.

Alexia knocked on the door and Denise and I stood behind her. Neil opened the door and you could tell he had been crying.

I went in there first and just kissed him we were making out for a long time before I pulled away and said "We are so sorry Neil."

"It's okay, I guess I get why you didn't believe me." he replied.

"No we should have believed you at first you are our mate and this is our fault." Denise said.

After we all made up we all decided to sleep in Neil's bed. 'Today has been a stressful day.' I thought before I fell into a deep and peaceful sleep.
