*Phil's POV*

I was terrified for this trip to Tokyo. As far as Dan knew it was an anniversary present i planned for us but its much more than that..

Tomorrow, underneath a cherry blossom, I will ask Dan to be my husband. It would be my wish for him to say yes but I know he would be confused as he's told me before, about keeping it a secret from the viewers.
"Dan! Taxi's here!" I shouted to Dan who was in the lounge.
"Let's-a-goooo" he said back in his best mario voice.
I ran into my room and grabbed my bags then sprinted down the stairs to the door and almost tripped!
"Someone's excited," said Dan with a smirk on his face.
We were in the taxi at this point and the driver was very good at holding conversations, which is good as he's with me and Dan.
The drive was going well until I realised I forgot something.

The ring.
"Em.. Excuse me, sir? Could we please turn around and go back to where you got us? I forgot something. Sorry." I mumbled embarrassingly.
"Em okay son, when do you have to be at the airport for?" He nervously answered.
Dan looked at me. I could see the annoyance in his eyes.
"9AM." I quietly said as I looked over at the time. 8:35.
It was about half an hours drive to the airport from our home so we probably would've been late and anyway, I like to be there early just incase.
"It's not important, i'll be okay without it." It slightly hurt me to say that. Because I knew it was the one thing that was going to change me and Dan's relationship forever, no matter what he says.
I think that's what I'm scared of most. Not him rejecting me. But his reason behind it.
If he says no and explains that it would ruin what we have, then I'll be annoyed. What we have is the best thing in the world. To me.
I'm almost sure he will say yes, although I do recall times Dan has spoken to me and said he wasn't ready for marriage. That was a year ago. I hope he's changed his mind.
After another 15 minutes of slightly less chatty conversation in the taxi, we arrived at the airport.
Dan and I hopped out with our bags and discreetly linked hands and walked, almost sprung, into the main building.
I looked over at the clock.
8:55.
"We should head to the check in now." Dan excitedly spoke out.
"Okay babe." I said as I lightly pecked his cheek.

The flight boarded at 10:00 so we had some time to pass.
We went to the Costa near our gate and laughed about Dan getting beeped on the security because he forgot to take his belt off and take his keys out of his jean pocket.
We looked at photos of our friends recent wedding and Dan seemed to like them so I'm hoping it's a step forward to him wanting a wedding.

We finally boarded the flight but when we got on, a large woman was sitting on Dan's seat. I politely asked her if she could move so my 'friend' could sit beside me for the flight. She ignored me. Then Dan asked and she seemed happy enough so she stood up and strolled across the alley between the chairs and took a seat which was probably not hers.

The engine started running and Dan knows how much I hate planes.
He could see the fear in my eyes and I could feel my heart racing through my chest.
Dan leaned over. Rested his head on my shoulder. Grasped my hand. And as soon as I knew it, we were in the air looking over the beautiful city of London.
"Tokyo here we come!" said Dan like a Hollywood actor.
