The Last Slice!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm basing this off of Devil May Cry 3's Dante! Also there is some swears in this! you have been warned!

It had been a long day, and you needed to blow off some steam. You were on your way to see your long time friend and partner, Dante, at Devil My Cry. Oh, you left out something pretty important... you had a MEGA crush on the dude. We're talking like head over heels, lovey dovey, Qupid shot you in the face (headshot!) level thing here. The worst thing was that it was getting worse by the day.

It was like he knew or something, because he would say something or do something to make you just an utter mess at the worst possible moment. I think one of the worst ones was when you two were out fighting a devil and out of nowhere he said "You ever notice I'm basically shirtless?" and then he smirked. You didn't really know what he was talking about so you looked and him and.........Oh god. He was basically shirtless!!! After your sudden realization, you just kinda stood there, forgetting about a devil that was closing in. Dante ended up saving you, but you still got some small wounds.

But, focusing on the real world, you found you self at the door of DMC. You felt no need to knock, so you just entered. As you look around, you found no one was in the room. Also, you found a pizza box on his desk as usual. You checked to see if it was empty as always but it had one slice left! You decided to take the oppertunity and snatch it up. You picked up the slice and took a bite. Being cautious, with every bite you took you looked around for Dante. He would try to kill you if you were seen.

When you got to the very last bite you started to hear boots hitting the ground. 'Damn it!'
you thought. As the footsteps drew closer, you scarfed the last bite into your mouth. Seconds later he was out from the back and this time, completely shirtless. 'At least the last thing I'll see is a shirtless Dante'

At first, he just stared at you. Then he started to walk closer. Then he stopped. Right in front of you. Yet again, you were just standing there frozen, when for some reason you got the stupid idea to look up into his eyes. "Y/n, did you just eat the last slice of my Pepperoni and olive pizza?" He, shockingly, didn't sound too mad. He didn't look it either. You simply nodded. Out of the blue he just leaned in and kissed you. And it was a French kiss at that. At first you were like, 'WHAT!? I thought I was a dead woman!?'. But it changed to, 'Wait, am I already dead!? I have to be in heaven!'. Because you got lost in thought, just as the kiss deepened, it was over.

" WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!?" You yelled out of pure confusion. You took a couple steps back to gain some distance. Also your face felt like it was on fire. He tilted his head and simply said "I just wanted a taste of the pizza. Got a problem?" Damn him and his comebacks. "No..." you said as quietly as you could. "What was that? Hmmm? I couldn't hear you."He started to move closer again and you stepped back again. You could hear the sarcasm oh so clearly in his voice. "I said No." Que the bright red face and burning cheeks once more.

"Well! Does someone have the hots for me? Do you think I'm cuuute?" God Dam it! You were stuck in a corner. Wait, holy crap you were stuck in a corner. He had slowly been pushing you back the whole time. Once you were right up against the wall he slammed his hands on the walls on both sides of you. Yup, you really were cornered. Shit.

Suddenly a stupid idea rushed into your head. 'Fuck it! I'm telling him.' You looked up from the ground and gazed right into Dante's eyes. "Yup. Got a problem?". INSTANT REGRET!!! Trying your hardest to keep your eyes up, you saw him smirk again. "What If I say 'no'?"

'Hold up........WHAT!? That's not a rejection!!! I think...' Yet again in Fuck it mode, you lean in and kiss him. It was a long and passionate kiss. It was even sweeter because it felt like forever but at one point you ran out of breath and pulled. The first thing you saw was a happy Dante. " How long was it gonna take for you to realize I like you too, dummy?"

As the day went on you spent it with Dante. As you looked back on the events that happened to start it all you realized it was all thanks to that last slice of pizza.
