Prisioner in my Own Head

My thoughts are dark and murky

No one will ever understand

what it's like to be lost in your head unless your experience it firsthand

I wish I could tell someone but I'm too chicken

Besides, if I did who would listen?

I really wish I had a friend to tell my issues to

But to every one else, I'm just see-through

Whoever said that it's better to be isolated than be picked on,

Silence is more deadly than a python

Some peoples thoughts are about rainbows and bunnies

unicorns mermaids and such

I'm more worried about staying alive thank you very much

I'm judged by how I lookand what I wear

I should be judged by my attitude

But then again it happens that life is very crude

I'm stuck inside my head

Without an escape

thought are stuck to you like tape

But you aren't stuck inside my head,

Don't be like me and have a mind that cannot mend

Don't be like me and meet my fateful end.

A/N This is a poem written for fun and does not in any way related to me. I'm not isolated, depressed, or lost in my own mind. My heart goes out to those that are. If you are any of the above, tell someone, anyone, and I gaurentee you will get better. Please, if you see any one alone and in need of a pal, just talk to them. It dosnt matter if it is a hello or a "Nice shirt." That can make thier day or save a life.
