More Than This

Chapter 2

Ellie's P.O.V.

"Bye honey, we love you. Have fun with your brother. Take good care of yourself. Remember if you need anything call us we can always get on a flight back and remember to call us every now and then and-" I cut my mom off, "Don't worry mom, I'll be fine!" I gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll miss you angel," my dad told me as he gave me a hug. I held back my tears as he got in the car and drove off, what can I say I'm a daddy's girl! I dropped my suitcases on the road and watched as Zoey gave my brother a big hug. I think they would make a really cute couple actually, hmm...

I walked up to my brother dragging my suitcase, "Ellie bear!" he yelled right in my ear while picking me up and spinning me. "Hi Jai," he laughed at my lack of enthusiasm and grabbed my suit case, "Oh come on El, living with me isn't that bad is it?" he dropped my bags off in a really big room, the view caught my eye. The ocean was in plain sight, it was breath takingly beautiful. "Nah, I guess I could get used to this." He smiled and messed up my hair, "Zoey and I are gonna go skating along the boardwalk, do you want to come or..?" I smiled knowingly, "I'm fine, I'll probably hang out in the beach." He hugged me one last time and I walked after him, "Have fun love birds," I winked at Zoey and she blushed, no wonder she was so happy to come here.

I grabbed my phone and walked out of the house, I played on the sand for about half an hour, one of the things I love about Miami beaches is that the sand is soo soft! I walked along the shore until the sun started to go down. I finally made it to the house and as soon as I opened the door I heard my brother screaming. "YOU IDIOT! I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET INTO ANY MORE FIGHTS!" I walked towards the living room where the yelling was going on, "IT'S MY LIFE, LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" this time it was another male voice, which I assume is his room mates, "YOU ARE GONNA ROT IN HELL, YOU NEED TO STOP GETTING INTO TROUBLE!" I cleared my thoat and was immediately met with grey/blue eyes, Noah. I didn't hate him I just.. wasn't a big fan you could say. He used to hang out with my brother alot and he would make fun of me, and when he found out I had a crush on him 3 years ago, that was hell. Both boys stood there, frozen in place. "Uhm... I just wanted to let you know that I was back from the beach," Jai nodded and Noah just stood there staring at me, I smiled a bit and he went into a room, which I'm assuming is his and slammed the door. What crawled up his ass and died.

After that little show, my brother went to bed since it was midnight and I watched TV since Zoey was already asleep. My stomach growled and I groaned, if only someone was up so they could make me a sandwich or something. I lazily got up and went to the kitchen, I made myself a bagel and ate it in a minute, I hadn't eaten since lunch. I sat there staring into space when I remembered Noah, I really did feel bad for him so I got up and made him a sandwich, I knocked on his door and there was no reply. If there is one thing you should know about me is that I am a very impatient person. I barged into his room and found him staring at the ceiling, he looked at me briefly and looked back up, "still an asshole I see," he chuckled, "Yeah, according to your brother I'm going to go rot in hell," I laughed and gave him the sandwich. He looked at me confused, "Did you poison this?" I rolled my eyes at him and he chuckled taking a big bite of it. "Well... goodnight," I said awkwardly, "Goodnight babe, thanks for the sandwich," and he winked at me. I froze momentarily with my mouth a bit open. Babe? What happened to dork? Or ugly duckling? I nodded my head and quickly walked to my room. What the hell..?

Noah's P.O.V.

I walked home all bloody and I'm sure I had a bruise on my cheek, but I felt pretty succesful, I just won a fight... again. Honestly I was starting to get bored of fighting with people it's no fun anymore. I unlocked the door and went to the living room, and as soon as Jai saw me I knew I was in deep shit. He told me his sister and her friend were staying with us and that he didnt want me fighting anymore and I kind of broke the rule. "YOU IDIOT! I TOLD YOU NOT TO GET INTO ANY MORE FIGHTS!" he yelled, "IT'S MY LIFE, LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" I yelled back, I know he means well, but damn if I wanted a father I would go back home. "YOU ARE GONNA ROT IN HELL, YOU NEED TO STOP GETTING INTO TROUBLE!" I rolled my eyes and was about to make another comment when I heard someone clear their throat, I quickly snapped my head towards that direction and I felt paralyzed, I found myself staring into those emerald eyes that I haven't seen in a while, Ellie. I stared at her unable to believe my eyes, Ellie was actually hot now, yeah she was adorable when she was younger but now.. damn. Her light brown hair fell down to just above her waist, and she had gotten taller. "Uhm... I just wanted to let you know that I was back from the beach," she looked at me again and gave me a small smile, that's when I realized I was still checking her out, oh shit. I walked to my room and slammed the door letting out all my frustration.

I laid on my bed unable to take her out of my head, what the hell.. When we were younger she was a just little nerd. I made fun of her because it was funny to see her reaction, and when I found out she liked me, I screwed up big time, she probably hates me now. Someone knocked on my door, maybe if I don't respond they'll leave- Nevermind. Ellie barged in holding a sandwich, uh okay? I looked back up, thinking she came in the wrong room, "still an asshole I see," I chuckled and stared at her, I knew she didn't mean it, "Yeah, according to your brother I'm going to go rot in hell." she laughed, and that made my stomach flip, what. is. going. on. She handed me the sandwich and I looked at it, "Did you poison this?" I asked jokingly, she rolled her eyes at me, she's too cute, I took a bite, "Well...Goodnight." she said, "Goodnight babe thanks for the sandwich," she looked at me confused and quickly walked off. What was that all ab- Oh... I turned off my lights and closed my eyes, this should be fun!
