First day

they don't have a girls league so I would have to play with the guys.

I had tryouts today the coach said he would contact me. Now I can only hope. Oh.!!!! I totally forgot to introduce myself! I'm Jordan.

Jordan Parker I am 16, I just moved here from South Carolina and I LOVE SOCCER!!!!!!!!!

I hear the buzz of my phone and instantly jump.

"Hello" I said it as confident as I could.

"Hello, Ms. Parker it is Coach Westpal"

My breathing hitched

"I am extremely interested on having you on my team."

My heart.... Stopped

"Oh, yes of course I would love to be on your team" I spoke as calm and controlled as I possibly could.

"Great," he replied, "I will see you at Mondays practice."

The emotions I was feeling right now were just... indescribable. WAIT!!!! It's Sunday night. OH CRAP!!! I have to unpack and get my school stuff ready I need my cleats! I'm not going to be ready in time!!

"MOMMMMMMMM!!!!" I bellowed down the hallway.

She yelled back "what do you want?????"

"Where's my soccer stuff, I made the team!!" I heard a gasp then she came running in, she attacked me and yelled "IM SO PROUD OF YOU, THATS MY BABY GIRL!!"

MONDAY 7:15

"Dang it!!! I'm gonna be late!" My school starts at 8:05 and I live 5 minutes away. I quickly walked into the bathroom and plugged my curler in... I ran into my bedroom and slipped on a soccer sweatshirt and jeans.

dashed into the bathroom and curled my hair it took about 20 minutes. I have SUPER THICK brown hair!

I quickly hopped in my red equinox and drove to school.

I pulled up and I was instantly nervous which is awkward for me, I never get nervous.

Walking through the hallway I instantly spotted them and almost fainted... The Lakewood High Soccer Team. One of the guys winked at me, I couldn't help but smile.

GET AHOLD IF YOURSELF JORDAN!!!

My locker was... B143 in the East Hallway I put my stuff away and headed to my first hour, Biology.

I was walking into biology, lost in my own thoughts, and I ran into a girl.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention"

she replied "it's okay, you and me both, I am Kacey by the way."

Kacey... I like that name

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Jordan, I'm new"

Kacey didnt look suprised "I can tell"

was it really that obvious?;

"Its pretty obvious" Kacey practically read my mind "So, signed up for any clubs yet?"

Kacey was really nice she seemed so interested in me

"uh no, no clubs I made the soccer team"

She looked so confused "we don't have a soccer team"

is this girl crazy? our school has NEVER let a girl on the team before!

"Oh, really?" I asked her Looking at her again I was less surprised. She is fit, muscular, tan, gorgeous and not very girly. I bet the boys are gonna love this "Yeah. I know its kinda crazy but I love soccer"

"That's cool, I play on the basket ball team we have practice at the same times, so I will see you in the locker room. Well I got to go to class it was nice to meet you Jordan" "You too, bye" -------------------------------------------------

Kacey was nice, at least I will have other girls in the locker room with me after practices. 3:10 I survived my first day of school... Lets see if I can survive soccer practice
