Centuries past, and North was old. But he had more than enough energy to help his friends with the same heart he had centuries before. Therefore, it didn't bother him one bit that Bunnymund asked for his help, but it did seem ridiculous. After all, like Katherine many centuries before, North knew exactly what was going on with Bunnymund.

North stood in the small cave in the warren, waiting for Bunnymund to tell him what he already knew.

Bunnymund looked away from North, painting an egg. "There's a girl here that's over the age of a child. For some reason she can see me, and she probably won't forget easily. And I can't use the dream lie on her! What am I supposed to do?"

North scratched his chin as he thought. "A girl older than a child?" He paused. "Bunny, you don't think..." He gave Bunnymund a serious look, locking his gaze with the giant rabbit.

There was a moment of silence.

"No. It's not the same as that time." Bunnymund's brows furrowed. "That time was different. She was different. She was nothin' like the adolescents of these times."

"We know nothing for now, Bunny." North smiled, shrugging. "For now, keep her close."

"What?! Why?!"

"Do you really think she could forget what she just heard?" North pointed straight at the girl Bunnymund asked North to help him with.

She froze, and so did Bunny when he saw her. He sighed as North laughed. North left through his portal. He stepped into an area with snow-covered trees.

He smiled as his eyes wandered around as he walked through the trees of the snow covered forest. His heart began to beat fast as he traveled down the familiar road. How could he forget it? It was the happiest and saddest place of all for him. It was the place he knew too well. He turned off the road he made centuries before and walked down a path that only he knew of. The small, hidden reminders told him exactly where to go.

Seeing the tiny bells and mistletoes tied to the branches of the trees warmed his heart every step of the way. He reached the exact place he was looking for, the place he always looked for in a time like this. He saw the stone that reminded him of everything that was. This stone stood with the warmest engraved message:

                                       Clara North

A fierce, brave, and generous wife

                                  "Always wonder."

North smiled as he looked down at the stone. He recalled her famous phrase that she would tell North when he was ready to give up a new invention or toy. She would always take North's hand and told him that with his wonder, he could do anything.

"I haven't stopped wondering. Not even for a moment. It is all I'll ever do." He closed his eyes and touched Clara's name. "But I still miss you, Clara."
