Chapter 1: Eve

I tugged the chains that were around my wrist to test how strong they were into the wall. I was gripped the chains that were loose from my wrist and teared them out of the wall. Dust enveloped me and I coughed a bit. I ripped the chains off of my feet with my hands and threw them to the ground. In front of me was a huge metal door that blocked my cell off from every other creation.

I glared at it and smiled, these Russians were not very smart. Extending a blade from my wrist, I jabbed it into the crack of the door and when it began to open, pushed the doors open. I yanked off the chip inserted into my arm onto the floor. Blood fell from the part where I cut through to remove the locating chip.

I open my eyes and I could picture the color now. Red, with anger. Quickly I sprinted to the stairs and pulled the emergency alarm and ran down the stairs.

I was being chased by these scientist and they were quickly killed by me slitting their throats with a blade and moving on. I went to the last floor where all the scientist had sedatives and tranquilizers to put me down and as they shot I dodged each one even though they came at the same time. I used the blades to deflect them and I jumped up and opened my white wings . I flew over them and out the open door, closed my wings from high up and landed heavily on a range rover leaving a giant dent. I saw a scientist that was just arriving pull up in a black range rover and I yanked him out and drove the car quickly with the door still open towards the cliff.

Bullets came flying through the car and I used my invisible shield to deflect them. They seemed to bounce off of me and hit other parts of the new looking car. I drove off the cliff and jump out of the open car and land safely in the water. I shield myself with a bubble and I am able to breath in the water. I am happy, I don’t know the meaning of that word but this feeling…I’m free. I smile and I know my eyes must have changed color’s to an emerald color for happiness. I was programmed to reflect my emotions in my eyes color.

But I had never felt any true emotions yet, love, sadness, happiness, and anger. But anger was one that I knew the best. My strength was based on what I felt so I always used anger since I hated the test that those scientist did on me. Needles and medicine were not for me but they kept programming me to accomplish something no-one else had. The ultimate power to destroy everyone in the Russians path.

I was pushed by a giant wave towards wherever I was headed , I guess somewhere safe. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes, falling into a gentle sleep at first. Then soon a deep sleep, I almost dreamed but I was taught to not be like the humans but to be like the code they created. Code’s are the most successful creations by the Russians, so far there are three of us Code 01, 02, and me Code 03. My arm is branded with those numbers 03 . I am Code 03 the most powerful, Eve.
