Dear Diary;

I had a...... stressful, day today. I honestly thought that I'd get some Christmas shopping done too. It all started when I went to the guild.

I woke up early today and managed to wriggle out of Natsu's iron-like grip. Once I'd gotten dressed I grabbed my celestial keys and walked to the guild.

"Careful Lucy, you'll fall in one day!" Yelled the guy on the boat.
"Don't worry!" I replied. "I'll be careful!"

I got to the guild to find the place in a wreck. Table and chair remains were scattered everywhere and a drunken Cana was lying on the bar.

"Cana?" I asked, walking over. "Are you alright?"
"Huh? *hic* Oh, mornin' Lucy." She hiccuped.
"Did you stay here all night?"
"Hmm," she sat up and rubbed her eye. "I must have. *hic* "
"What happened here?" I mumbled.
"The normal. Gray and Natsu carried on fighting after you *hic* left, a chair hit Elfman and he accidentally squished Erza's strawberry cake, *hic* and I had a drinking competition with Warren." She explained.
"Oh." Was all I could say.

"Christmas is coming up ya know." She said. "When are you going shopping?"
"I was gonna go today." I smiled.
"Quick! Let's go together now before Makarov gets here!" She yelled, grabbing my wrist and running out the guild.
"CANA WAIT!" I yelled.

"Right then." Cana smiled. "Let's begin."

We walked through the market, past stalls that sold everything you could think of. Well, everything except a good present to give. We walked past jewellery, clothes, fruit, shoes, cheese, rugs, bags, posters, trinkets and even silver celestial keys, but we didn't buy anything.

Until Cana layed her eyes upon one particular stall.

The alcohol stall.

"Lucy..." Cana mumbled. I looked over and saw stars in her eyes, and she was DRIBBLING!?
"Give me the money." She ordered. Since I was the only one carrying a bag I carried her jewels as well as my own.

Suddenly she snatched the bag from my grasp and sprinted towards the stall.
"CANA!!" I yelled, running after her.

Not only did she spend all her jewels in alcohol....

She spent all mine too.

Natsu: "Mmm... Thanks for the yummy dinner Luce."
Lucy: "It's alright."
Happy: "Natsu wants you to cook for him everyday Lushee~"
Natsu: "Well, her food is very tasty."
Happy: "Natsu also wants you to feed him and kiss him and-"
*Natsu covers Happy's mouth with his hand*
Natsu: "Shut up Happy! I don't."
Happy: "yuu....duuu"
Natsu: "Stop lying Happy."
*Natsu removes his hand*
Happy: "I'm not lying, you talk in your sleep."
Natsu: "I-I d-do?"
Happy: "He liiiiikes you Lushee~"

Ugh, boys.

So I went Christmas shopping with Cana today, but I didn't buy anything. Instead, Cana spent all my money on wine.

Natsu: "Luce, have you got anything to drink?"
Lucy: "Have some sake. Thank Cana."

12 days is plenty for planning Christmas. Right?
