Niall's P.O.V
We started making our way to (Y/N) house, I wonder what her and Greg were talking about before I walked in, I'm guessing it was something about me because Greg kept looking at me funny. The silence was awkward, I need to say something or hope that (Y/N) does...I wonder what she's thinking about.
''Hey what were you and Greg talking about before I walked in?''
"He umm, well he said that you liked me, but thats silly right? I mean we've only just met, how could you have feelings for me?"
"Um yeah that would be silly..."
I knew it! He told her, I swear to god when I get home that kid is gonna get it! While (Y/N) was destracted by the lady walking her dog I quickly text Greg.
"Dude! Why did you have to go and tell her, she won't talk to me properly thanks man!"
"She didn't believe me anyway, just play it cool maybe ask her how would she feel it you did like her, you never know she might like you back, your a good kid Niall. Maybe do something unexpected.
"Okai I'll ask her but if this ruines our friendship I'm so going to kill you when I get home"
"Oooh I'm scared"
I put my phone back in my pocket and nudged (Y/N) god those eyes! Niall pull yourself together she's just a girl, your only asking a simple question how hard could it be?!
"So Greg told you that I liked you, how would you feel if that was true?"
Here comes the awkwardness
"Um actually Niall I wouldn't mind I like you..."
SAY WHAT?! She likes me! Right Niall just stay calm don't make yourself look like a muppet keep it cool!! Well what seemed like forever finally came to an end, we reached the corner of (Y/N) road.
"I'll be alright from here thanks Niall, thankyou for walking me home that was very sweet of you"
"Well I'm a very sweet guy"
"Haha you got that right"
Right I swear she winked at me!
"Guess I'll be going then, same time tomorrow?
She just nodded but then I noticed that she was leaning towards me slightly, oh.my.holy I felt a smile creep upon my face. She kissed my cheek, wow her lips are so soft. When she stepped back I noticed she was looking down at the floor, did she regret doing that? What should I do? I took my hand a gently placed it under her chin making her look into my eyes. She had tears in her eyes, but why?
"Hey what's wrong (Y/N)?"
"I'm so sorry Niall I didn't mean to its just when Greg told me you liked me I knew that I wouldn't be able to keep going on keeping my feelings for you hidden with that a tear rolled down her face, I wiped it away with my thumb.
"Don't be sorry" I leaned in a gave her a quick kiss on the lips
"Its a good thing I like you, Greg was telling the truth I really do like you but I was scared to admit it to you because I know we only met and I didn't want to make things awkward between us or ruin our friendship..I'm sorry I should be going."
I gave her a quick hug and thanked her tutoring me today, so she likes me I couldn't be happier she's really helped me catch up, I made out I didn't know much. I'm actually really smart but I knew if I told (Y/N) how much I knew she wouldn't want to tutor me anymore. I've had an amazing few days with (Y/N) I really think she could be the one. Tomorrow I'm going to do it, I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend but how? Maybe I could play the guitar for her she never noticed it under my bed so it will be like a surprise I'll get her to sit on the swing outside and I'll sing to her and hopefully everything will go alright. I just hope Greg isn't home early tomorrow...
