Aatami dodged a sword strike just in time for it to swipe right over his head hearing the whistle of the blade in the air. He sent a sword jab straight into his enemy's torso, before he could celebrate, another orc was on him swinging an oversized battle axe that he had just enough time to feebly parry the axe, he had no time to dodge a kick that came from another orc. As he tried to get up he was halted by a wooden sword in his face.
"He is an alright fighter" one of the three orc battle training instructors "for a human" chimmed in another instructor "Shut up you idiots, he may be a human but he is still the only candidate to get a perfect score at the end of our training trials, he is most impressive" the two orc instructors looked at each other then looked at the third orc "Kai did you just call a human impressive?" Kai looked at his fellow instructors "who are you two taking in as your fighters this year? In the arena?" The one named zalik, the orc who was first to speak made his decision "I'll take kraelon the one who kicked down the human" the other orc named zeo then spoke "I'll take falen, the one with the axe" they both looked at kai then zeo asked "failing to choose a fighter like every other year Kai?" He laughed "something like that. Alright morons go pick your so called champions" the two orcs nodded and walked off to get their fighters.
kai was approaching Aatami he saw that the human boy was engaged in a fight with three orc, human hybrids "with the agility of a human and the strength of an orc this boy doesent stand a chance" he went to stop them but was halted by the group of children watching. One of the hybrids engaged Aatami. The first enemy to attack Aatami, was ugly for a hybrid, he had orcish skin with human features so that he looked like a miniature orc with red hair. Aatami recognized this one as saint, the jerk who had stopped him in the end with the wooden sword, but now since training for the day is over, saint no longer had a weapon, although neither does Aatami. He was going to take strike when the other two hybrids jumped in, these too looked the same from one another being twins, they had big muscles and are more attractive than they're hybrid ring leader "you bringing in your goons to the fight?" Saint replied with a sneer "what are you afraid of these two? No these two are my teddy bears, are you afraid of teddy bears?" Aatami disregarded that last question and remarked "so you sleep with your teddy bears?" Saint's face reddend "shut up! Tut, muck get him!" The two hybrids engaged Aatami but he was ready for them. As the first boy swung at him he easily dodged the clumsy attack, Aatami jabbed him in the gut and sent the hybrid staggering "you morons get him!" This time the brothers went in together, getting to boxing position they swung simultaneously, high, low, side, low, high, kai was amazed to see that Aatami was dodging each strike as easy as he had that first, but enough was enough. Aatami knew it was time to end this "fight" the first boy staggers back as Aatami kicked his opponent dodging another. He swiftly kicked the first down and turned to his brother, "what? does getting your ass kicked by a human run in the family?" The hybrid heard these words and responded with a grunt and an offensive over head punch that was easily diverted and earned him a punch in the face. "Ahhh!" The boy fell to his knees.
"That's it.." Saint says as a knife slips into his hand and swings it at Aatami "Time to die human!" Kai, knowing something must be done, pushes through the children watching the battle, grabs Saints wrist throwing him over his shoulder resting his foot on the hybrids chest. "Get our of here" the boy hurriedly gets up and runs away along with his grunts.
Aatami looks at the the orc "what old man, you want some too?" "As a matter of fact" Kai answers "I do" as he lands a quick blow to Aatami's stomach taking his breath away. "That was some nice fighting kid" he compliments as he sweeps his legs out from under the boy "but, those were hybrids" blocking a punch from Aatami, "And?" Replies Human boy getting upset charges the orc in a tackle, "And, I'm an orc" he swiftly steps to the side and pounds a heavy fist onto the humans back "who used to kill humans like you for a hobby" Aatami picks himself up "then why haven't you killed me yet?" He blurts out staring defiantly. "Because you Aatami, are no ordinary human" Aatami
