Your POV

You and Sherlock walk to your house in complete silence. It takes about 10 minutes to walk all the way home to 112 Waterloo Street.

Man I must have been running like a maniac to have gotten to Sherlock's place all the way up the street and around the corner that fast.

You and Sherlock walk up the 3 stone stairs that lead to a brown rustic door. You were shuffling through your mess of keys when Sherlock walks in front of you and opens the door. "It's unlocked." He walks straight in as you stand there feeling like an idiot.

Wow. I guess I forgot to lock the door on my way out of here. What if he left? Hopefully... But if he left he would have been able to come back in!! Damn it, Y/N. This is why I lock my doors. Crap.

You warily step into your familiar flat to see the funniest thing ever. Sherlock was on the ground getting over run by puppy kisses from P/N. Sherlock was laughing. He was enjoying the wet, sloppy kisses from your pet.

Quick Sherlock POV

I walked into Y/N's flat only to be greeted by a puppy. The loving animal looked so much like an animal I once loved. Redbeard I still love him, but he was taken away from me. I immediately got down on my knees, embracing the kisses from Y/N's pet. Oh god, I miss you, Redbeard. The memories are coming back to me. My young self, playing with my one and only friend, besides Mycroft. But mother and father had to take him away....

Back to Your POV

That's strange, I would never think that he would be having fun around an animal. I would have expected a, "What is this... This beast?! Why is it licking me? Down, beast!"

You giggle at the thought of a frustrated Sherlock. You look back at Sherlock and start laughing. Sherlock gently takes the pup off of him and stands up, wiping all the invisible dust off of his coat. He goes back to his normally stern self, the pure joy vanishing from his eyes.

"Sherlock," you giggle, "what was that all about?"

"What was what all about?"

"That moment you had with P/N. You seemed so.." You trail off thinking for a perfect word, "..so happy! And I thought I would never see that much joy from you over a puppy."

"Oh, that. That isn't something you need to know."

"Why not?" You ask, hoping you'll get to learn at least one thing about this mysterious Sherlock Holmes.

"It does not concern you. Now, where did you hear the noise coming from?"

"Oh..." You are a bit disappointed that you don't get to know why Sherlock was so mesmerized by a little dog. "It came from the bedroom." You say and point down the hall towards your room.

Sherlock swiftly makes his way to your bedroom. He doesn't even try to be careful when he throws open the door to your room. He leans into the room, taking a quick glance around, and steps in.

"There's nothing here." He says from the other room.

You assume that it is safe in your room and decide to join Sherlock. You step in and look around, just to make sure. Your eyes stop at the dresser that is up against the
F/C colored wall. There is a vase. A vase filled with F/Fs. You did not put those there.

"Ummm, Sherlock?" You ask, eyes still glued to the vase of flowers.

"Yes, Y/N?"

"Those weren't there. I never buy flowers." You say as you point towards the dresser.
