AFTER ALL THESE YEARS

CHAPTER 1

Stan's POV

I see the bus pull up next to the Shack. That has got to be them! I run out the door without giving Pearl an excuse on why I'm leaving so suddenly. I never told her about Dipper and Mabel coming back, or Wendy. I don't know why though. Pearl had a really good friendship with Dipper and so did Wendy. I guess I just wanted it to be a surprise. Pearl has been working at the Shack ever since Dipper and Mabel left. I needed the help without them and she needed a high school job. It worked out perfectly! Dipper and Mabel get off the bus and see me. Mabel runs up and hugs me really tight to the point where I can hardly breathe, wow, for a now tall stronger girl she...wait oh my gosh! They're so much taller now! Mabel isn't wearing one of her crazy sweaters, well, not as crazy. She's just wearing a simple plain colored sweater and her usual jean skirt. Dipper is in a T-shirt and jeans. He hasn't changed too much. Still slightly shorter than Mabel. Man, I remember when he had a fit over being shorter than her. Those were the days. Mabel still hasn't gotten her braces off which makes me still think it's the summer of 3 years ago. And Dipper, well I don't think he'll ever change. I made him leave his weird book here so that he doesn't get himself into trouble back home. "Grunkle Stan! Are you still scamming people?" Mabel says with her sly little cunning smile. "The really question is: will I ever stop?" I say and we laugh. "Yeah, yeah, where's Ford? And the journals?" Dipper asks. Yeah, I didn't exactly tell Ford either. Their parents didn't exactly know about Ford. I just didn't know how to explain it to them. 'Oh look! Here's my twin that I accidentally pushed into a portal and that's where he's been for years!' No! So i didn't tell him. "Eh, he's down in his lab, as usual. As for your Journals, up in your attic room thing that you and Mabel used to share." I say and he runs up, or down. Ya know, whichever he goes to first.

Dipper's POV

As I'm running in to find Ford, I see Pearl. "Dipper?" She says and turns the corner to see if it was really me. I stop and turn around to see her. "Oh my gosh it's you!" She says and runs up to hug me. She's always been kind of short so I'm about her height. Even though I'm 15 and she's around 17. "Dude, you can't just come to Gravity Falls without telling me! We have got to do something. How long are you here?" She asks and I answer with all summer. "Omg dude that's awesome! We need to totally go to the beach. Like good old times?" She says with her cute smile. No, I don't like her. We've just been best friends since day one and have a mutual understanding. Her being half mermaid and me with the journals, we believe in these crazy conspiracies. "Yeah, but first, let me go see Ford." "Alright see ya!" She says and gets back to work.
"Ford!" I say as I walk through the door. "Dipper?" He asks as he turns around. When he turns around, I see someone behind him.
