I grabbed my tray for breakfast. It was "cheesy burritos". They were hard and the cheese didn't taste like cheese. I took a sip of my milk, and realized it was like cottage cheesae.

"Sup bro?"

"What Jules?"

"Rawr!"

He threw his hand in a cat like way, resembling his rawr.

"Haha, okay. What do you need?"

"Well can I copy off you-"

"Mine got wet. You do have a note though, right?"

"No I forgot too ask my dad."

"Good luck with Mr.Raymond."

He then walked off slumping his shoulders.

After class I put my books in my locker, and walked to the lunchroom.

I grunted after reading the menu.

Chicken Strips, Green, Beans, Pears, and Milk

This what I see.

Soggy beef, stringy sewer tasting beans, week old OPEN CANNED pears, and expired milk.

I grabbed a milk, the crappy food, and sat down.

"Hay Dakoda."

"What?"

She said mocking my tone from yesterday. She rolled her eyes, and the group of my "friends" scooted down two tables away from me.

I sighed and thought about what to name my puppy. Out of complete randomness, a tornado siren went off, and everyone jumped up and screamed. The teachers kept yelling,

"STAY CALM!"

Even though they themselves were freaking out. We made our ways to the bathroom.

I was pretty lucky to get a whole stall to myself, besides the sticky floor.

About 45 minutes passed before we were able to come out. I looked around, and the windows were blown in, and broken, glass everywhere. Books from the library layed open, broke, wet, and torn.

Then, gunshots.

My first reaction was to stand there and stare at the man with the pistol, shooting at teachers with horrible aim.

I ran back into the bathroom, and locked myself in a stall, and put my feet up on the toilet seat.

Suddenly a scream, and a cop siren. Several sirens. Cops ran in and cornerd the man, and took him away. Soon an ambulance showed up. I was stuck in the back of the crowd, but as the injured student was put on the gurney, people walked away crying.

Jules stared at me, and smiled. A bullet hole seemed to have been where his heart would've been. My only friend. I felt a hot tear roll down my cheek as he was carried away.
