The bell rang again, I was too busy day dreaming to realize, Clare hit me "get up" She laughed, "What time is it?" I asked, "Food time?" Clare laughed sarcasticly, I got up, We walked downstairs to the lunch room, I took a seat with the Popular Fakes, Clare did too, Clare played with the tab on her icetea, I had a salad, It looked bigger then the rest of the fakes lunches, except Nasrin, she had hot wings, a slice of pizza, two peices of fried chicken and a sub, She was eating with her hands, Jake was sitting with his girlfriend Helena, she was this blonde girl with black half-done streaks in her greasy hair, her hair was choppy at the back , her braces always had food stuck in them, I felt sorry for the poor girl somedays, but come to think of it, Jake does love her, They were men't for eachother, Hes a player, and shes just.. unexplainable.
I ran my fingers through my hair, My hair smelled like strawberries, I took a look at Tyson, He grinned at me, I smiled, Tyson leaned in too talk to his friend, Adam, turned around and looked at me, then looked at Tyson and gave him two thumbs up, what did he just say?, I prayed it was something good, "Kallyn lets go outside for free period" Clare suggested, "sure" I smiled, We got up and walked outside, the air was cool, a little too cool for fall, Tyson went outside too, Talking with Adam, Brendan and his other techy friends, I smiled, "He likes you Kallyn" Clare smiled, "I dont know about that" I disagreed. "He does Kallyn, I'll ask him myself" Clare insisted, Before I could stop her she ran to Tyson and his friends, She whispered something in his ear, He nodded his head yes, I covered my face "oh god" I whispered, Clare came running back "You guys are hanging out today, after school" She smiled, I blushed "Thanks Clare", We walked back inside, We had two blocks to go before school ended, I couldn't wait.
I had P.E next, our teacher was such a crab, she hated me, she would make me run 5K rather then 4.3K like the others, Clare agreed that she hated me, I knew she did, thats why she wouldn't let me join track, or basketball, or any other sport I tried out for, I was a really good athelete, But Ms.Barnes hated me. She let the fakes have it easy, Nasrin only had to run 1.5K, Me and Clare figured it was because she was so morbidly obesse. I quickly changed into my gym shorts, "Today we will be joining the boys P.E class to do a marathon" Ms.Barnes smiled, Everybody moaned, I cheered, I loved running, So even Ms.Barnes couldn't ruin my anticipation. The classes met at the starting point, Me and Clare decided to run together.
Tyson wasn't far behind us, I could hear him talking to somebody else about the Halloween dance, "You should ask her!" the second person said, It sounded like Brendan, But I didn't want to turn around and check, "I don't know If I should I mean, Maybe she doesn't like me" Tysons voice trailer. I stopped running. Whos he talking about? another girl? me? Who?!, Clare stopped too, Tyson and the person passed us, it was Brendan, "whats wrong?" Clare asked, "Nothing" I said, shaking it off, I began to run, faster now, Clare could barely keep up "I'll see you later" she puffed, "okay" I smiled pretending everything was alright. I caught up with Ms.Barnes, "Hows it going Kallyn?" She smirked, "fine Ms.Barnes" I smiled, Her smirk turned into a frown, "Oh thats good then".
We finished the marathon, I wiped the sweat off my forehead, I waited for Clare, She came about 30 minutes after me, "Hey" She puffed, "Hey" I smiled, "Holy crap i'm beat!" Clare admitted, "We still have one block to go" I moaned, Clare and I walked to the change rooms, we changed quickly, We made it just in time for the last block, Art class, We had to paint something that we love, I ended up sketching Tyson, I ripped it up, Mr.Jada picked it up out of the garbage and smiled "Wow thats a very good job Kallyn" Mr.Jada smiled, "Thanks I guess" I faked a smile, "You like this boy?" Mr.Jada asked pretending he didnt know Tysons name, "Yeah I guess so" I smiled, "Thats great" Mr.Jada smiled back.
