Chapter 4

"Leonard, I've been seeing someone else."
"You what!!??" She so shocked. I hate to break him like this.
"Yes for 2 years now. I love him, and I always have." I feel slightly better now.
"Who is it?!" He sounds angry now
"Its....it's...." Oh god this is hard "it's Sheldon." This will kill him, his best friend has been in secret relationship with his long time crush.
"Sheldon?" He sounds so shocked. But still angry and upset.
"Yes, and I love him, i know it's weird but I do truly love him."
"This actually explains a lot. That's why when we make love you never seem into it. And when ever Sheldon's in the room you light up and always want to talk to him."
"Are you mad?" I think he's mad.
"No, just a little upset, why didn't you tell me earlier? Why'd you have to tell me now?"
"Because it was kind of hard. We were both in relationships and we just thought today would be good. We were gonna announce our relationship to you at dinner."
"Oh alright. I get it." Leonard is now really upset.
"I am...sorry." I feel bad but it was the right thing to do. "I'm leaving now. Good bye Leonard, see you around."
He didn't say a thing, I'll just leave him and head to my place.
"Hello Sheldon!" How long has he been waiting out side the door.
"Hello penny, I wasn't listening or anything. So you told him her news?"
"Yes I did. But before I could say anything he got down and proposed!"
"He what!? Oh that must of been hard to tell him after that."
"You have no idea." Well you want to come over to my place?"
"Yea sure. Well let Leonard get over this." I take Sheldon by the hand and take him to my apartment.
We talked and talked about stuff and about and hour later Sheldon left,
"Well now I must go confront the beast which is Leonard." Oh I really hope Leonard don't hurt him.
"Good luck with that." I give Sheldon a small kiss on the cheek.
"Bye." Sheldon walks out of the apartment.
Sheldon's POV
I leave penny's apartment and walk over to my apartment, oh I have no idea what Leonard is going to think about me now that he knows about me and penny. I can't hear anything. That's a good sign. I walk though the door to find Leonard sitting on the seat with a beverage in his hands.
"Hello Leonard." I say politely.
"Oh hello Sheldon, over at penny's again?"he sounds mad.
"Yes I was. She offered me to come over."
"Oh ok." He got up and walked to the kitchen.
"Are you mad?" I knew I shouldn't ask but I can't help it.
"No I'm not mad, you've been dating the girl I've had a crush on for years, and the one time I try and propose she tells me you two are dating, and have been for 2 years. Why would I be mad?"
"Oh good you're not mad."
"Of course I'm mad Sheldon!! Penny was cheating on me with you! I was humiliated! I was going to propose! What does she see in you!?" Oh he's really mad. I've really stepped in it this time.
"Oh well I'm sorry, but I really do love penny and she really loves me."
"Well why dint you go leave with her if you love her so much!" That's actually not a bad idea.
"Maybe I will!" I will ask her tonight after we tell everyone.
"Good. Oh and I never want to see you again!"
"That's not possible, you see, we now live across the hall from each other, and we will surely bump into each other at one time or another. We both go to the same comic book store. And we both work and the same place and eat lunch at he same time, plus we eat at the same table too. So there really is no way to not see me again." Geez Leonard get your facts strait.
"Well.... Fine! But I don't want to talk to ever again." Ok he's really really mad.
"Fine but don't come to me when you need help." I leave the apartment and head back over to penny's.
"Hey Sheldon. How did Leonard take it.?"
"He now hates me, and never wants to talk to me."
"Wow he must be really upset." No kidding. One day he'll come back. He needs me.
