Louis' POV
I crack his chest and his heart looks pretty good except for the blood gushing out of the stitches.
"What do you see, Dr. Payne?" I asked.
I already know what I see but since this is a teaching hospital I like to ask.
"The heart has popped a stitch but I don't see any other injuries in the chest cavity", he said in a questioning tone.
"You are correct. After we fix the stitch we need to find the reason why."
I fixed the stitches and made sure the heart was stable then looked around.
"I'm not seeing any reason this happened. Do you agree, Dr. Payne?"
"I am not seeing anything but seeing as this situation happens in 20% of patients it could be anything", He stated.
As I started to finish everything and close up when Niall started to speak.
"Dr. Tomlinson" Niall said.
"Yes?" I questioned.
"I know what is causing the heart issues", he informed me
