Chapter 10: Escape

All three of them arrived back upstairs. They all let go of hands. Suddenly, Lisajane ran off.

"What's wrong with her?"said Romeo.

"I don't know..."said Lucy.

"Let's chase after her."said Romeo and they held hands again.

They checked every room, but Lisajane wasn't found. Suddenly, you can hear knife noises.

"That way."said Lucy and they both ran towards the narrow hallway.

Both of them stared in awe, as they saw Lisajane stabbing someone. A woman who came alive from a painting was being stabbed. Romeo and Lucy crept closer and closer and they could hear Lisajane singing a tune "All those who get in my way, me and you shall play play play. I'll be in the other world soon, so I'll never see you again in the bright moon."

"Romeo, this is creepy."said Lucy.

"Let's go...NOW."said Romeo and they ran out.

As they were running, Lisajane appeared right behind them and said "Please don't leave me."

"Well come on then and Romeo, follow me. And Lisajane."said Lucy and she let go of Romeo's hand.

She led them both to where a statue was blocking the way and asked Romeo to push it. Before he moved it, he said "Lucy, could you go to that corner, I need to tell Lisajane something."

"But.."said Lucy.

"Just go!"said Romeo and Lucy went to the corner.

"Hehe, what is it Romeo? Is it so important that you can only tell me?"said Lisajane happily.

"Yes, it is."said Romeo. He lifted his arm and punched Lisajane in the face. She dropped her rose and lay unconcious on the ground. She was smiling, even though she was not awake.

Lucy quickly turned around and said "Romeo! Why!? Why did you do that?!! Why would you do that?! I thought you were telling her a secret!"

"She's not a real person. She's the artwork of Marteno. She's just like all the other painting out to get us."said Romeo. "We have to leave her okay? Let's get out of here now."

Romeo pushed the statue over, he grabbed Lucy's hand and they ran down the stairs.

They went down pink narrow stairs and walked on a path made of crayon. They avoided things falling out of the sky and made it to a town all made out of crayon. The weird thing is, that you can actually open the doors and everything is real, but drawn with crayon.

They entered a house.

"This house is certainly weird. This whole house was drawn with crayon and we're actually stepping on it."said Romeo.

"Something is telling me to take this bucket. Eh, I'll take it."said Lucy.

Just as they were about to go out, Lisajane came in with her knife.

"Lucy? Romeo?...Lucy?! Romeo?!...Hm..."said Lisajane, then she left the house.

"She's after us now..."said Romeo.

"I saw something on the sidewalk while we were walking. Let's get it."said Lucy.

"Okay then" said Romeo. And they left to get it.

Lucy picked up the key and it said "Gallery". On it. 

"You know, there was a sign saying that the Gallery was that way."said Romeo, pointing left.

"It's settled. Let's go."said Lucy.

They opened the door to a gallery. Inside on the wall was a drawing of Lucy, Romeo, Lisajane, and the ugly doll. In the middle was a box. There were a pattern of pictures and they took it along and left.
