My stomach is churning and I can barely breath. Maybe this will be it. It will be the night I've always been waiting for. I got a blue dress, which really makes the paper airplane necklace stand out and flats because high heels are too mainstream and I hate them.
I make my way into the gym and I see Leah slow dancing with William straight away. Her hair is done up in the most perfect braid that falls down her shoulder and William is in the most elegant tux I've seen in a while. I turn my head slightly and I see Jaydon and David feeding each other strawberries in the most cute way possible.
This will truly be the most perfect night ever.
I look at my phone and I'm ten minutes early and I don't see Ryan around. I tell myself not to panic and sit down with David and Jaydon.
"Well isn't this a cute little'Javid' moment." I say putting air quotes over Javid.
"What in gods name is a 'Javid'. " Jaydon asks putting air quotes around Javid once again.
"It's your shipping name." I say proudly.
"You have some problems." David says.
We all laugh. Jaydon then tells David he wants to dance and they make their way to the dance floor. Leaving me alone. I look down at my watch and Ryan is now ten minutes late.
*~*
After thirty minutes of me waiting I give up. I run out of the prom; my eyes filled with tears. He did this to me. He did it to me again.
Why did I even believe him. He's a liar. I took off the necklace Ryan gave me and dropped it on the floor. I ran to the first place I thought of. Our Park.
