I was waiting outside of Starbucks for my Daddy. I held my hot coca I had got earlier tighter in my hands. I coughed into my sleeve. Daddy, you better be here soon, or I'll freeze. Hey, it's only the 1st week of June, but I get cold easily. I took a sip of my creamy hot coca, ignoring the hot, burning sensation running down my throat. I hid my hands in my hoodie sleeves, and curled the sleeve in my fist. I looked up, as I heard a car stopping in front of me. I sighed, and walked towards the black hummer. I opened the door, and sat in the passenger seat. I put my soccer bag on the ground by my feet. I put my seat belt on, and took another sip of my hot coca.

"How was practice?" Daddy asked.

"Fine." I mumbled.

"Work?" He asked again.

"Hard." I replied, quietly.

He sighed sadly, and turned out of Starbucks.

"So..." He started.

"If your trying to make conversation with me, I suggest you don't." I snapped at him.

I hated being mad at him, and he knew it. It was a rare thing. But when I was, it was when something really did upset me.

"Baby, can you please just tell me what's bothering you?" He asked softly.

I sighed, and put my hot coca in the cup holder.

"It's you and Victoria." I sighed sadly. "You put her in front of me, and you barley have time for me anymore. You love her, I get it. But, you don't have to ignore me, and only talk to me when she's not around." I told him,

"I know you don't like her, but I try to make time for you and Brooke, but she pulls me away." He sighed.

"Then don't let her." I put my hand on his large ones. "I know I sound selfish, but I just want my Daddy back."

He smiled, and patted my knee.

"Things will be changed, babe. Don't worry." He smiled.

I leaned over, and kissed his cheek lightly. I sat back down in my seat with a smile on my face.

-At Home.-

I closed the door behind me. I waited for Daddy to take off his shoes, then slipped off mine. I fixed the strap of my duffel bag.

"When's your next game?" Daddy asked, as we walked to the living room.

"Uhh, next Thursday." I nodded.

"I'll be there." He smiled.

"Hunny?! Is that you?!" Victoria yelled from the living room.

"Yeah, babe!" Daddy yelled back.

I sighed. "Daddy, you can go to her. I'll be fine."

He smiled, and then nodded. He kissed my head, then walked to the living room. I walked towards the kitchen, and saw a plate of dinner waiting for me. I sighed, and picked it up. I grabbed myself a fork, and put my plate on the table. I pulled my chair out, then sat in it. I took a bite of the still warm carrots.I heard the pitter patter of little feet, running down the carpeted stairs. I smiled, and continued to eat my dinner.

"Chloe!" I heard a little voice cheer from beside me.

I looked down, and smiled once I saw Cruz, in his pj's, with messy hair.

"Hey bud." I picked him up, and put him on my lap. "Why you up so late?"

"I had a b-bad d-dream, and I c-couldn't f-fall a-asleep." He whimpered, hiding his face in my neck.
