Hey guys, I am starting another One Direction Fan Fiction because the other one didn't work out so well so, here we go!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, my name is Olivia Floyd. Boring name for a boring girl I know I know, but my story is actually pretty interesting. Like how I met One Direction, but it wasn't like you would think. I wasn't jumping up and down, crying my eyes out, and hugging them to death, actually quite the opposite. I just sat there, staring at my parents in stupidity.

Let me start off by telling you about myself. My name is Olivia Floyd, and I'm from East Camden in Arkansas. Not a very known town, and we only have over about 700 people that live here. Most people around here like country artist, and so do I, but my step mom is from England so she thinks I should be liking Adele and One Direction. Sure they are good singer's and stuff, but I would rather be listening to Hunter Hayes and Carrie Underwood.

There is something else you should know about me, I was diagnosed with stage 11B colon cancer with a 37% survival rate back when I was 8 years old. It was rough, and the effects left my mother so distraught that she left us the night the doctor's thought it to be my last night. I cried and cried for hours, but finally sucked it up believing that she was never going to come back.

Now the cancer is gone, but the doctors still want me to come in for check up's every once and a while. Right now I'm living with my father, my step mother Sharon, my older brother Brody, and my younger sister Hannah. We lived in a two story house, and owned about 5 acre's of land, and a couple of horse's. It was perfect, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.

Today was my 17th birthday, and today was the last day of school. That I believe that it was the best birthday present I could possibly get, I hate school. Sure I'm at my class, but nobody like's me so I get bullied. Except my two best friend George and Toby, they were the best friends a girl could ask for. Right now, I had just gotten home from walking from school. Walking into the kitchen, I saw Sharon with the biggest grin on her face, and my father just staring at the floor. What was going on?

"Dad, Sharon, what's going on?" I asked, before going into the kitchen to get a apple, before heading back into the living room.

"Oh please Joe, can I tell her?" she squealed making me raise an eyebrow. Ok, that was definitely weird.

"I guess Sharon, but don't say I didn't warn you." he sighed, before making his way up stairs.

"Sharon, what's going on?" I asked, looking at her suspiciously because she has that glint in her eye that I didn't like. It was to happy for my opinion, and even Brody understand's that it's abnormal for someone like her to be this happy. Hannah doesn't understand, because she's her daughter, and is only 10.

"Liv, get ready to shop till we drop because I have some people coming over that you will be dying to meet in a couple of days!" she cheered, making my mouth drop. No...way...

"Who did you get? Little Big Town, The Band Perry, oh wait did you get Rascal Flats?" I question, my eyes widening because I was so excited.

"Even better, I pulled some strings with my friends in England, and they have gotten One Direction to come and visit us for a week before you head off with them on tour!" she squealed again, making my mouth drop.

"What?" I asked, making her shake her head.

"Olivia, you have to get into more music that is hip now. No more of this country music, it's time to widen your taste on music..." and after that I just stopped listening.

Ok, maybe this isn't that bad. I mean, I love music and I'm pretty good at playing the guitar and piano. Sure everyone around here says I have an amazing voice, but I don't believe them. Maybe these boys can help me out with the music stuff. Sighing, I got up and went upstairs to my room.

After dinner, I went back up stairs to do some things before I stopped in front of my mirror. My long light brown hair was now cute super short, since of the kemo therapy. It used to be bald until it started growing back, which I was thankful for. My blue eyes that used to be so vibrated and full of excitement, were now a more dull color, but I will say they are brighter than before. This was me, the average girl from Arkansas, and nobody can change that.
