A world lost in chaos and unanswered questions with everybody going to the more intelligent for answers, getting nothing back but deep stares. They knew that there were more questions than answers and that the world was coming to a devastating end. Everyone was lost in the confusion of life and the meaning of living, struggling to manage life themselves. While most people where just a mere presence to the large quantities of confusion. only about one-thousand where still living joyfully in their time .The mere future, in year 5765 the population was rapidly dropping, now the population at only 1 million, with man-kind coming to a short stop compared to how long the cosmos have been in existence. Not to mention the mass problems lurking elsewhere and yet everywhere at the same time for nobody knew when these problems would strike, but in the last moments in there sad little lives a thought would come to them all "What have we done!", while they all felt the same emotion, Sorrow for what they have indeed done to their once gorgeous planet Earth.
On one of the many days of chaos and confusion there where three boys and two girls on a remote island all around the same age of each other, and they remembered this closer than anything else for whoever was the oldest was the leader, but all still had the same amount of power, but only one made the more major decisions and that was James, his island name being "palm" for his sleek personality, body, and for his good athletic ability. Cameron the slightly younger brother of James was mainly called "flawless monkey" for his smarts, tree climbing abilities and survival instincts, while the youngest boy and friend on this island was Jackson, and he slightly disliked the fact of being nicknamed for what he acted like,he was called "The puffer fish" Both for his temper and his surprising cleverness for an 9 year old. The eldest girl Bella was called viper and only Viper for 3 reasons, her think fast smarts, her vicious beauty, and her leadership requirements, for once she had to fend off a whole pit of unlikely guests...Vipers. Then there was Aras also called Atlantis for her bravery and smarts, plus there was the fact that she was mostly quiet and almost always at tip top focus. All of them knowing each other even before the incident called "The Unlikely storm" A incident that fused the boys and girls relationships back together for the second and last time.
The day was like any other, the kids screaming, whether with joy or fear hearing the distant yet still distinct sounds of the outer world, and sometimes if you listened closely you could hear the girls in the next building complex laughing or crying, because most where still hearing about their parents common deaths as the world was going to hell. Although today was not an ordinary day, because today they will be moved to a secluded area where hopefully there some of humanity could remain without fear or suffering and thrive and hopefully survive. Although hope was more inspiring and common in both the boys and girls building complexes after they where told about the new news, even some had their saddening doubts about the chances of anyone living happily ever again.
"Shh, you're going to get us caught" James said smoothly as to not be loud, "What are we doing again" Jackson said grumpily "For the last time, where sneaking through the vents to meet with the others", "And why did you bring me again", "Cause Jackson you're my little bro, and there's something big happening, and I want you to be safe", All three of the boy's went on in the damp pitch black vents silently and orderly till they reached a small opening into a larger but still small compartment. They all entered fashionably, but still kind've clumsily into the compartment where they would meet up with the others to discuss the upcoming events.<Girl's> "Aw, watch it you nearly made me fall over myself, and that could've gave us away", "Sorry Aras" it was Bella and she accidentally tripped over the vents small, but annoying bolts" not to mention all of the other disturbances like the small dirt clots and the strange hanging wires that seem as they shouldn't be there. They kept trudging through the slightly smelly vents which smell some what of the perfume the girls sometimes use, usually at people's funerals which they held nearby in a safe building complex. The girls silent now besides the constant and irritant noise of their knees and hands bumping into the unusually thick vents now saw a dim light and could now also hear whispers. <Boys> "Hey did you hear that, it sounded like Aras and Bella" It was James the only one that didn't seem to be irritated about the others being late and the only one actually paying close attention."Yeah, but all I heard was a moan", "Yeah, but did it sound kind've familiar to you?", This time it was Cameron talking to Jackson talking to his brother."Well if their coming then we better be extra quiet, for their making enough sound as it is. The boys stayed quiet the remainder of the time while waiting for the girl's.<Girl's>The Girl's now only a few feet away from the entrance in which they used, whispered out to the boy's to help them in."Psss, hey can you help us in", the boy's slightly startled and stunned for a mere second eventually helped in Aras then Bella into what now seemed like an even smaller compartment in the maze of damp vents. All of the kids now in the compartment silent for only a moment."Did you hear of how they're moving us to this so called secluded area?", it was Bella asking James "Yeah we heard, but we still don't know if it's a good idea to go through with it", "I mean we can't just go to a secluded and mysterious place without discussing the plausible outcomes", "Oh so that's why you brought me along" It was Jackson that responded this time, grumpy as usual for these meetings took place mainly deep in the night. The kids finished the discussion about the strange upcoming events and now where going through the dark vents the girls now coming with the boys, due to the upcoming events. The group smelling something faint, but they just ignored it as though it wasn't there.
