Knock knock.
I groggily sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes.
'What was that sound?' I wondered, looking around my room.
'It didn't sound like a knock on the door...'
I slowly walked to my window and pulled the curtains back slightly to glimpse out. I squinted trying to see through the darkness outside before a thought struck me.
'Wait... I'm on the third floor...'
Silence enveloped the room as I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
'What was i-'
Before I could continue to wonder, my thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone knocking on glass again. I was at the window when it happened though and there was no one.
'Where is it coming from?' I thought frustrated.
The knocking became louder and fierce. Then it suddenly stopped. I backed away from the window confused and scared.
'It's coming from in here, but that doesn't make... Sense...' My frustrated thoughts trailed off as I caught sight of my mirror in the corner of my eyes.
'No... There's no way...'
I hesitantly walked over to the mirror. I fearfully looked at the mirror and my reflection. I raised my hand slowly and watched as my reflection copy me. I relaxed and shook my head at my stupid thought. I raised my hand to the glass and lightly tapped it.
"Knock, knock." A voice whispered from behind me.
I froze as I spotted a womanly figure's reflection behind me in the mirror. Before I could react, she shoved me forward. I stumbled and just managed to catch myself. I turned, ready to scream when I realized with horror what I was looking at. I was looking at myself... in a mirror. My hand trembled as I reached up and placed my palm against the glass. My reflection did nothing, but smile at me. I spun around, I was no longer in my room. I was in a world full of reflections.
