For the next 2 hours or so, I was asleep and then I woke up with nobody around and decided to get up. I was parched and so I looked around for a drink and found some water in a chalice and took it. I gulped it down like it was nothing with some water going down the side of my face. As I took the chalice from my lips I turned and looked to see Alexandra standing there in the doorway.
"Sorry I was thirsty" I said to her, "That is perfectly alright, that's why it was there" She said to me with a smile. She walked over to me and checked me over, "You seem to be in good health, thank Apollo" She said to me. "Apollo? The Greek Sun God" I said to her, "You know of Apollo?" she asked me. "Yes, I read much about him and the other deities of Mount Olympus" I replied. "I see and where do you come from?" she asked me, "I am from the United States of America" I said to her.
"Interesting and what is your occupation?" she asked curiously, "I am an artist" I replied to her with a smile of my face. "Artist? What kind of artist? Sculpture? Paintings?" she asked me, "I mostly specialize in sketching, which is similar to painting" I replied. "Is that so?" she asked me and I nodded. "How did you end up on our shores?" she asked me, "I was on my way to Greece and my ship hit a storm which leveled the ship and left all but me alive" I said.
"By the gods, I hope you weren't hurt by Zeus' rage" she said to me, "Well I was drifting for a couple days until I washed up on your shores and ended up in the home of the Amazons. I guess I got to really thank Zeus" I replied with a smile. "Why's that?" She asked me, "Well if I had not been involved in that shipwreck, I'd most likely be still be going to Greece and we would have never have met" I said to her.
She smiled, "Well welcome to Themyscira" she said to me, "Thank you very much." I replied. "Perhaps you would like to explore the city?" she said to me, "I would love to, thank you" I said to her and I held out my arm like a gentleman and she took it and we both left the palace to explore Themyscira.
