The drive to the little restaurant downtown took about fifteen minutes. The ride was silent and awkward, the car seeming all too stuffy and confined. When they arrived, the two desperately got out of the car as quick as possible- or rather one climbed out and the other appeared on the sidewalk suddenly. The cool, fresh air was a relief.
Cling! The bell above the door rang as they pushed through and sat at a booth. The waitress caught Dean's eye immediately, a tall brunette with a slim, hourglass body and a pretty appearance.
"May I help you?" she asked, coming up from behind Dean, standing a bit too close to him.
He turned towards her with a crooked smile, "Lady, you can help me in more than one way, but I'll have a bacon cheeseburger. Extra crispy." He winked and she giggled, plastering her face with a wide smile. She went back to a straight, bored face as she faced the angel.
"I don't eat," he said plainly, not paying the slightest attention to her. She nodded but he sensed her irritation as she rolled her eyes discreetly while turning to leave. She looked back to wink at Dean, her hips swaying as she walked. His eyes seemed tethered to her backside, until Castiel got his attention.
"What on Earth is she doing?" he asked, looking at the waitress swaying as she walked. She made her hips sway from side to side so drastically it was unnormal. "It looks ridiculous."
Dean laughed as the lady came back with a beer and handed it to him. He took a swig and looked at the angel. "She totally wants me," he said, smiling smugly. Cas gave him a look for clarification. "Sex, Cas. She wants to have sex with me."
Castiel raised his eyebrows as Dean put it bluntly. "She's hardly even a legal adult. Shouldn't she save her virginity for her partner when she marries?" He looked honestly confused.
"Oh, that's right, Cas, you're a virgin," he chuckled, chugging down the rest of his beer with a sigh. "I forgot. Is that why you're a virgin? Are you just saving it for your 'partner'?"
Castiel's eyebrows pulled together, observing Dean. "I suppose you can say that's one reason, but as an angel of the lord, I haven't had the chance to meet anyone I'd like to have any relations with. Up until yesterday, I've never kissed anyone," he explained.
Dean scoffed. "You mean to tell me, I was your first kiss?"
"Yes, that is exactly what I just said," Castiel said in all seriousness, not understanding the humor in having his first kiss.
"You seemed pretty damn aware of what you were doing. I've kissed plenty of girls, and you still seemed to outkiss them all. It's not everyday someone shoves their tongue down your throat and turns out to be a good kisser," his face was a bit red as he tried to make his voice light and humorous.
"I don't understand. Do you mean I am a good kisser?" Castiel asked him. Dean nodded. "Well I couldn't control myself. Perhaps it's Jimmy's skills being applied to myself."
"Oh," Dean said. So his first kiss was him? "Wait, but isn't that against your ways? Kissing a guy is like against the law for angels, isn't it?"
"A man is not to have sexual relations with another man as he does a woman. I simply kissed you, we did not have sex."
Right then the waiter walked up, her face twisted into a disgusted expression as he handed Dean his cheeseburger. She looked at Castiel rudely, turning back to leave, her hips no longer swaying more than normal.
"Damn it, man. You ruined my chances of getting laid with your talk of kissing me," Dean sighed. He took a bite of his cheeseburger, Castiel waiting patiently so they could leave to the bar.
