You sigh walking down to your dorm once more. The feeling that you may never be able to do your talents again nagged at the back of your head. A sinking feeling in your heart told you that someone would eventually snap and you would be once again faced with the inevitable trial. Gritting your teeth slightly you walked towards your door before opening it and sitting down.
It was only six, not even that late. But still you felt tired, worn out even. As if loosing your talents had also made you lose a part of yourself. Which in a sense it did.
Resting your head in your hands you waited, not realising that your door was wide open.
After a few minuets your head snapped to the door. Standing up you cursed and went to close the door, just as you were about the lock it shut you heard something you didn't want to hear...a scream, the sound of a door slamming and the sound of feet against the floor tiles.
Jumping into action you chased down the corridor to where you heard the scream. The narrow hallway lead towards the library...
Ignoring the sound of footsteps escaping the library, you flung open the door...but immediately regretted it.
The now familiar smell of blood hit you first as the door banged against the wall.
You looked around hoping to see what was causing the thick stench of blood.
Nothing.
No body.
No blood.
No sign of anything.
Walking around slowly, you examined the library. Others had now arrived until finally everyone was there bar three people. The usual three to be fair, Killia, Mitzuo and David were no-where to be seen.
Walking around the bookshelves and isles you waited to see the body.
Turning to the others you waited to see if anyone had found anything.
Nothing.
You walked down the third row of shelves and stacked piles of books and gagged.
The body lay under a massive book shelf and pile of books.
The pages of a book had been torn out to cover the blood and the face of the body.
A scrap of fabric was held to a wall by a pin along with knives thrown into seemingly random places on the wall.
Lifting up the bookshelf you looked at the full scene.
The victims hand was bleeding, their fist clenched letting the blood run through the gaps in their fingers.
Their head was bruised, in the shape that matched the bookshelf.
A small scratches covered their arm.
Their mouth was left wide open - mid scream at the time they died.
The super high school level Assassin - Killia had been crushed by the bookcase lain down next to him.
