Well, I already made my dress. Completely finished, I've worked on it for months. Yes, I love to make clothes. It's one of my weaknesses.
The chest piece may look hard, but it's really smooth black silk, covered in big different shapes and colored beads slowly fading into smaller ones. Around the waste a big black bow and everything below, just some simple black see through clothe, layered, and swerved edges with a tight small skirt to go underneath.
A web necklace to go with covered in random gems, and a black bracelet saying "Long live music" with the letters in bright neon colors.
I curiously keep checking to see if Tserof has arrived through my window just outside the hallway.
* * *
"I told you I was going to be late." Tserof said as he talked to his brother and his brother's date.
"Brother, you take everything way too seriously; someday it will get the best of you." Said Bocaj with an evil grin, Tserof rolled his eyes.
His brother and himself were wearing almost the same clothes. Not exactly a tux but pretty close to it, a tux t-shirt, with some regular blue jeans, though Bocaj's was a darker blue than Tserof's. Rehteah, Bocaj's date, was wearing a long red flowing dress to match her red eyes and brown hair.
The three walked a little further only to find my blue house on the corner of the street. He knocked on the door only to find me in my beautiful dress and jewelry.
Back on the street walking to the high school, I constantly was staring at Rehteah. She asked me a few times what I was staring at but, I told her nothing. Although, I knew who, I should say what, she was. I knew something was up. Only the newer ones can't hide the eyes. I also had mine on Bocaj too. But he didn't have red eyes, so if he was one I couldn't tell. I never had met him; Tserof had never talked about a brother. He was the darkish kind of person, always looking at me with an evil grin.
"We have to walk down Flight St. then we'll arrive right at the high school."
Tserof said.
And that's what we did.
We finally got to the party. Balloons of different colors were everywhere in the gym. I looked and found Leinad on the way in, many compliments were about my outfit, and many thanks were given. Then I saw Nosidam, she was beautiful!
A white laced, sparkle filled silk dress, with fake light freen flowers lightly spreaded to the right side of the outfit. Small angel wings, with fake flowers as well as some in her hair.
Nosidam noticed I had arrived, and me knowing she would, she walked straight to me. "Nice costume" I said. "Nice.... Ahhh..." "What? No comeback, that's a first Nosidam!" Tserof lost his brother in the crowd already, so it was just me, him, and Nosidam. "Do you want some punch? Maybe some pizza?" Tserof asked.
"Punch sounds nice."
"Okay than, I'll be right back!"
I heard someone talking about someone spiking the punch. So when Tserof got back, I was gonna refuse the drink. Any kind of alcohol reminds me of wine, which then reminds me of little JC, (Jesus). I was there when he was born, and there when he was dead. I then saw an old friend of mine at the second that happened.
Adam. You see, since I was the one to encourage the snack, I got more of a discipline. Yes, Adam did too, but I guess you can say in a way, his wasn't as bad. Adam is death. He comes to pick up the dead whenever he can, one after the other. Spirits are left behind when Adam can't pick them up. So that's what they do, they wait for Adam. Adam can make things come back to life, if their life is still too meaningful, but it takes time. If the life's meaning is finished, he will make sure they stay finished.
"Eve, I know you miss him, but someday you'll see him again, I promise."
"Yea, right now, I have other priorities." I took a glance over to the punch table, where both Tserof and Leinad where talking about the Unit test tomorrow. Ekez came up to the both of us. He asked Nosidam to dance right when a slow song came on; I'm guessing he requested it. But, I was kinda surprised when he didn't ask me. "Aww, the too love birds." I said. "Shut up!" They both said at the same time.
Tserof came back, and I asked what he and Mr. Drawdow where talking about, although I already knew the answer.
"Do you wan-mz wzmxv?" Asked Tserof, I couldn't hear him over the loud music.
"What?"
"I said do you wanna dance?"
"Yes, I would love to dance Mr. Tserof." We both smiled.
One of the songs very upbeat came along and we danced, very slowly, as if it was like a slow song with everyone jumping and dancing around us. The music stopped, and everyone stopped dancing just as we heard a blood curdling scream.
