"Come on Shyanne," a voice mumbled shaking my sleeping body. I frowned and rolled over. I was never a morning person.
"Shy," the voice whined. "Were gonna be late for school."
"Why do I care?"
The person groaned and I heard them walk away. I smiled sleepily and tried to fall back to sleep. I shrieked when I felt freezing cold water cover my body like a blanket.
"What the fuck?!" I screamed jumping out of bed. I looked down at my body with my hands threw up in the air.
I finally looked up and saw the culprit was my best friend Hannah. I glared at her and started to take off my shirt and pants. Not even caring that she was in the room. We've been friends since first grade. She's already seen me naked, many times.
I walkled into my closet and started looking for something comfortable to wear. "Did you really have to do that?" I asked as I pulled out a sweater and looked it over before deciding it was decent.
I walked out of my closet and saw Hannah smiling at me apologetically. "I'm sorry bout that," she said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "But you wouldn't get up."
I shook my head and slipped on the sweater and grabbed a pair of black leggings, also putting those on. "Just let me straighten my hair then we can go to hell." I groaned.
"Its not that bad," Hannah laughed. I looked at her in my mirror and raised a brow.
"You only say that cause everyone likes you," I laughed. "I, on the other hand, have to deal with Cameron."
She frowns and shakes her head sadly. Cameron Dallas, the 'bad boy' of our school, started harassing me in our freshman year. It was an awkward year for me. Braces, glasses, acne, all the typical geek stuff, I had.
Its three years later and he still hasn't stopped messing with me. The braces and acne are long gone. And the glasses replaced by contacts. And I still have no idea why he picks on me.
I'm not shy, nor am I weak. I stand up for myself, and you could say I have a big mouth. Maybe he dislikes be because I'm the only one who Sasses him and talks back.
I shrugged the thought away and straightened the last strand of hair before unplugging the iron and standing up. Not even putting on make up, I believe in natural beauty.
"Well," I sigh, "let's go."
We arrived to school about 20 minutes later in Hannah's car, she got it for her birthday last year, and got out. I slung my bag over my shoulder and waited for Hannah to walk next to me.
We walked towards the entrance, pushing through the groups of people that waited outside, and headed towards our lockers. We were lucky enough to have the same initial for our last name, so our lockers were right next to each other.
"Please just," Hannah started off with pleading eyes as we opened our lockers, I already knew where this was headed. "Just, try not to sass Cameron."
I rolled my eyes and exchanged the stuff in my bag, basically my homework, for the books and binders I needed for my first few hours. As soon as I was about to put my last binder in my bag it was knocked out of my hands.
