Today's a B day, I wonder if Phil's going to be in any of my B day classes. Hopefully, but unlikely. I'm in home room staring at the clock. Watching each second, each minute... Waiting for the bell. I have no friends in my home room, absolutely none.
"Read your books everyone!" Mrs. McBree shouted.
I really don't see a point in reading if the bell's going to ring. I can feel her eyes glaring at me. My skin starts to tingle, I drift my eyes away from the clock, and open my book to a random page.
Ring ring ring
I quickly close my book and head to my locker.
I don't really need to go to my locker if I brought my stuff with me... But I want to. One, I need lotion, my hands get too dry too fast. Two, I see Phil... Sometimes. Three, I like taking the time to walk. My next class is math. Ugh. I wish it was an A day. I don't get the point of math. You learn it, you forget it during the summer. You relearn again next year. Plus a few extra things but mainly reviewing.
Once I reach my locker I search in my tote bag and grab Hawaiian Flower scent lotion. I snatch my math binder, folders, and extra papers. Well Phil didn't go to his locker, maybe he will come later... Oh well I have to get going to math. My math teacher hates it when I'm late.
Once I get to math, I spy my friend, Diana. "Hey," I say sitting next to her.
"Hey," she replied.
I smiled. My math teacher was behind his desk looking at papers, must be attendance or something. I pull out my iPhone, and quickly check my texts.
"1 new message"
I swipe it and find Rosie texted me. She's one of my best friends that I can always count on.
Rosie: what class r u in?
Me: math you?
Rosie: English
Me: fun..
Rosie: sure there's this cute new guy in my class
Me: cool what's his name?
"No phones allowed in this class, put them away hurry up or I'll take them!"
I raise my eyebrows, startled. Mr. Dale was staring right at me. I quickly shoved my phone in my back pocket. I feel it vibrate. I guess I'll never know who that "cute new boy" was in her class. Was it Phil?
I wish I didn't have to take math. All I could hear from the teacher was "blah blah blah blah blah blah" I pretend to pay attention, my head keeps falling over about to sleep.
Oh shoot he's passing out a worksheet.
Okay.. I have no idea... What? Oh we did this last year. I can only figure out 3 problems right away. My name, block, and date.
"This is due by next class!" Mr Dale announces.
Oh yay, more time to finish it.
"But I expect you to work on it now."
But I don't even get it. I'll just look up what it means later. I put it in my binder and I pull out a sheet of paper. Pretending I'm "writing". I'm really doodling. I'm gonna draw my name in bubble letters, or practice my signature. I look up at the clock, about ten more minutes. I decide to draw a beach around my name. Putting a sun in the corner, little ocean waves along it. Coconut palm trees, and a dolphin.
Finally, the bell is going to ring soon. I crumble up my paper. Ready to toss it into the recycling bin. I pull out my stuff from my desk and wait...
"We still have a few more minutes, why don't you keep working on it," Mr. Dale said.
Uh.. No. We more have a few more sec-
Bring bring bring!
I fast walk out and make a perfect shot of the paper. I walk to my locker. Phil's already there. I do my locker combination, it doesn't work. I try it again.
"How was your class?" I heard Phil's voice.
I look at him. Was he talking me? Oh he was staring at me.
"Boring, math sucks," I say.
"I just came from English, it was okay.. Do you have Mr. Dale?"
I jerked my locker open, oh so he was the new cute guy Rosie was talking about.
"Uhh yeah why?"
"I have him too."
"Cool.." I say not knowing what else to say. Gosh why am I so antisocial.
"Yeah see you later," he says smiling. I nod. I feel something touching my arm. Is it bug? I jump and flick my own skin. It was my hair. Wow.
Hope you enjoyed it! Will update much sooner! :)
