"Hyung, are you okay?" the maknae Sehun asked Tao as he saw the bandage on Tao's ankle
"Hmm, don't worry" Tao said as he tried to not to make Sehun and another members worried
"Just take a rest for few days Tao, don't worry about the schedule. The CEO must be understand your condition" Suho as the leader said
"Okay"
-Fast Forward : 1 week later-
Tao was watching TV when someone knocked the dorms door. Why they need to knock when they can enter the dorm. He thought. He stood up and carefully walked to the door. He opened the door and his eyes widened. Someone stood there, a man with suit and grey-almost-white hair
"Can I come in?" the man asked as Tao just lowered his head
"Sure, baba" Tao opened the door wide to make way for his father. Yes, his father. But what is he doing here?
"So, how are you?" he asked his Father
"I'm fine, how about you son?" his father asked Tao back
"I'm fine baba" Tao answered with eyes still glued on his foot. He didn't know why but he was so afraid to face his father
"You call that injured foot as you fine?" His father snapped and that make him looked at his father
"Baba, don't worry it wi-" He didn't finished his sentence as her father cut him off
"Let's go back" His father said firmly
"But baba, you know this is my dream"
"I know, I don't forbid you to reach your dream but look at you now. You can't do anything, you can't perform with this condition. Let's go back, let your ankle heal and you can start again your dream in China" His father said softly to make Tao more comfortable. Tao didn't say anything for a minute but he spoke again
"Let me think about it first baba"
"I already discuss it with your CEO, I sent him letter a few days ago and want him to give permission for your departure-"
"But baba I-"
"Let me finish first, I really want you to go back to China not because me, not because anything but it because you. Please, I beg you. I don't want to you suffer, both physically or mentally here because of this injury and another. I am, your father just want you to be happy. So, let's go back" His father finished with his voice got lower every sentences
"*sigh* Yes, baba. I'll go back with you" Tao said. To be honest, he already think about his departure. Why? First, because of his injury that didn't seem to heal. Second, because he is Chinese and the company give different treatment to the Chinese member, he sick of it. Third, because his beloved gege, Kris gege left EXO too. He lost his roommate, his closer brother. He is so lonely
-Fast Forward-
It's been already 4 years since I became EXO member. To stand on the stage and see you guys, to stay with EXO and EXO-L is my happiness. It's already the last concert. I regret that there are things that I haven't completed. Right now, I'm feeling so guilt. I was so sorry that when the members practiced in the practice room, I was staying at the dorm to rest, unable to join them. I'm so sorry. I really wanted to go up on the stage. For the stage is my life. I'm thankful and I love you!
