Chapter 27

It's been 1 week since Chanyeol's parents death. And he already find a place to work.

It's a book store near his school. So after school finish, he would walk from school and do his job. He work as a cashier and it's quite worth it.

And yeah, holiday is coming. They will recieve their own report, showing the results of their exams.

Chanyeol put his coat on, pack his things, bid goodbye to another workers that more older than him, before walk out.

When he open the door, the bell is ringing showing that someone is out or in. He's a bit shivering when the winter air greet his face.

He walk toward the bus stop and wait for the bus to come.

Arriving at home, he open the gate. He felt something cold and hard as he open the gate. Maybe it's the padlock, and because the weather is cold, it turn out cold.

He sigh before lock the gate once he enter his house, walk toward it and open the main door.

"I'm home.."he whisper with a sad smile.

He turn the light on, put his things on the sofa, and open his coat before hang it up.

He take a shower and felt warm water greet his skin. He close his eyes, feel relax with it.

After bathing, he make foods for his own. He choose to make an asparagus soup plus hot milk tea.

He work on it in 20 minutes, before sitting on the dining table and enjoy the foods.. alone.

He sigh before looking out through the kitchen's window.

He find nothing but a dark sky.

Same as his heart.

Dark.

And gloomy.

"Eomma.. Appa.. I miss you so much.."

"I can't believe my report is good!"Luhan jump up and down.

Sehun just chuckle and ruffle his boyfriend's hair. Yes, they've been a couple since a week ago. When they were still busy with their exams, but Sehun call Luhan and tell him everything. He told him that he love him. A lot. And with that, Luhan said yes and they are a couple now!

Well, we still can wait for Chanyeol and Baekhyun.. right?

"Of course you are!"Kyungsoo roll his eyes. "You study so hard, like seriously."

"Yeah yeah. But still, I can't believe it!"he squeal like a little girl.

The others just laugh.

"And how about your report, Chanyeol?"Kyungsoo ask.

"Mine is not good as yours, guys."he smile sadly.

"But you work hard for it. That's the point."Baekhyun cheer him up.

Chanyeol smile to him, "Thankyou."

And then they walk out from their school together. Of course with coat on them, because the weather outside is terribly cold.

"Brrr.. It's really cold."Luhan tighten his coat.

Sehun give him a hug plus a smile. Luhan just blush.

"You guys wanna go home?"Kyungsoo ask them.

"I.. don't know. In home I must be bored."Luhan say while pouting.

"Then let's go somewhere!"Kai cheering.

"To where?"Chanyeol and Baekhyun ask in unison, make the two look at each other before smile shyly.

"Maybe to mall.. Or something."Sehun suggest.

"Hmm.. We must find a place that warm enough."Luhan say while hugging himself.

"How about Chanyeol's house?"Kai shamelessly suggest.

Chanyeol smile widely, "That's great. Let's go."

"Oh? Yeah.. Uh-huh.. Okay.. Yea I already eat mom.. Right.. Okay bye, I miss you already.. Yea yea bye!"Baekhyun hung up the call before walk toward Chanyeol's living room, where they friends are watching the movie together. Chanyeol even make popcorn for them.

"So..?"Chanyeol ask while rising his left eyebrow.

Baekhyun sigh before smile, "Just like usual.. They go for works and not coming back until new year. But who know."he shrug his shoulder.

"Poor Baekkie.."Luhan say then hug him tight.

"Don't be that cheesy Lu."Baekhyun chuckle. "Excuse me guys, I want to go to the toilet."

The others just nod their heads.

He make his way toward the toilet. After finish, he turn off the light and make his way back to the living room. But in his way, he find an old photo on the table. He curiously pick it and frown when he find 2 familiar boys. The taller boy embracing the smaller one. They use uniform showing that they in their junior high school. The both of them are smiling widely, looking at the camera delightfully.

This is too familiar.. Baekhyun thought.

He know that the smaller boy was Chanyeol. But who is next to him..?

He flip the photo and gasp as he see the caption.

"Chanyeol and Jarry, best friend forever."
