"He is back," Courtney asks. I nod. "But... how? The killer was Terry, and you killed him."
"I don't know how he is back." I walk over to a suitcase that was already here when I arrived. I concluded that it is mine. I open it up and find exactly what I wanted. My yearbook. I would have explained it without the yearbook even if it wasn't in there. But to make them believe easier, I am going to show them the inside of the back cover. "A couple weeks after that night, I received my yearbook in the mail." I turn around and walked toward the two. "I looked at every picture, and read everyone's quotes. I felt the heartwarming emotional wave flow through my body. That feeling was abruptly replaced with horror as I noticed something etched into the inside of the back cover."
I tilt my head up to meet their gaze. I extend my arm and hand Derek the yearbook. He grabbed it and immediately turned it over to the back cover. Derek opened the book and sees what is sketched on the inside. Horror slaps across his face, then shows the sketch to Courtney. She has the same reaction.
What was sketched on the inside is a drawing of a skull. There were no pupils, but it still seems as if the eyes follow you wherever you move. There is a caption bellow the skull:
I WILL BE BACK!
"I haven't looked in that ever since," I say.
"Why is he after you this time," Courtney asks.
"I have no idea. Maybe to finish what Terry started?"
"What's going to happen if he does finish it," Derek continues the inquiry.
"I can't say. So until then, the two of you have to watch your backs."
